Have you ever won Fight for Fumble on ALLMADDEN?
I have never won fight for fumble against the computer on all madden. Even when the gage is in my favor at the beginning it just zips to the other side. It happens on Coop too. My thumb is sore, my buttons are nearly broken, what gives? Anyone else have this problem too?41YES, I have a turbo controller0%5NO, and my thumb is nearly broken0%36Tags: None -

Same here. I decided there's no way I'm ever going to win, so I turned it off. Now I occasionally get the fumble recoveries.
Fight For The Fumble is a good concept, but it's useless because it's impossible for most people to win.Comment

That's weird. I usually win Fight For the Fumble. I was actually going to suggest a difficulty setting so I could make it tougher

Re: Have you ever won Fight for Fumble on ALLMADDEN?
Thats pretty much unheard of...Congrats to you. I just turned it off and let the CPU scrap it out for the ball....I never could win...even on Rookie...and whats funny is I am great at button mashing in other games, but it is pretty useless in Madden.“What’s better than one billionaire? 2.....”Comment

Re: Have you ever won Fight for Fumble on ALLMADDEN?
The game knows what button is coming before you do and has no delay in changing from one button to another. Naturally a human has a delay in changing buttons, the programming doesn't take that into account so the CPU gains ground on button changes.
I have won some of them, but only when they seem to get slanted at times depending on momentum.
I agree with the majority here, unless your losing a turbo controller or not on all Madden, it would be very hard to win them each time with regularity.Comment

Re: Have you ever won Fight for Fumble on ALLMADDEN?
I turned this crap feature off after my first day (and first 2 fumbles lost) with the game.
If they spent 20 minutes developing this, it was 20 minutes too long, IMHO.Comment

Re: Have you ever won Fight for Fumble on ALLMADDEN?
fight for the fumble is ok. i leave it on, i win about half the time. some of them you feel cheated on though, i agree. just get your button pressing skills up guys and dont use your thumbs. when you know or see it occuring set the controller down on the coffee table and poke and tap with your pointer finger, thats the trick. GO HARD NIKKA!Comment

Re: Have you ever won Fight for Fumble on ALLMADDEN?
4 people voted yes, really now?
I highly doubt the 4 people who voted have won the FFF against the computer on ALLMADDEN.
Whoever suggested not using thumbs, I perfected that years ago on the old olympic game for Nintendo (for running) and that doesn't work on ALLMADDEN either.
Nothing does, because its broken
I wouldn't care if it wasnt touted as one of our 2 new annual features, but it was.
I am going to turn it off against the computer, but unfortunately online coop games don't let you do that, which is what I've been playing lately.Comment

Re: Have you ever won Fight for Fumble on ALLMADDEN?
Not only have I not won one, when I get fumbles with the feature off, the CPU still gets them. This usually happens when the ball is on the ground, MY GUY JUMPS ON IT, and then the fight-for-fumble animation still comes up (with no CPU players around) and the CPU gets the ball."Yo Soy Fiesta."

Re: Have you ever won Fight for Fumble on ALLMADDEN?
Who cares if you can win it or not, it completely takes you out of the game, it is freakin stupid (I agree it ranks right up there with ring builder as most likely the 2 dumbest features in video game history).
Why not just have it randomly play out on screen where you could tap the dive or strip button repeatedly to try to get possession of the ball, but without going to some pre-scripted stupid and repetitive cut-scene.
For that matter, why do we even have cut-scenes on next gen sports games??? I miss having some control over celebrations, feel like the game should give you control over the players for a longer time after the whistle - thus allowing fight for the fumble to be dynamic and part of the game play rather than a stupid mini-game!Comment
