JSOU's Finished 2009-2010 NFL Rosters & Franchise file

Well here they are, hope you guys enjoy, I know were ready to start our season. This file is meant to be played on the slow setting as well, I used 115 as a max for speed which allowed Chris Johnson to run a 4.26 in the 40 in an actual practice.
I will be putting out updates throughout the season. Each team has their actual player equipment taken from game day pictures. Last year Puja asked to use my file for his player equipment, so his 08 file will have the same detail as mine, not sure about his 09 version. Each player also has the correct skin tone as well, this adds a ton to the game IMOP. Every attribute change globally and individually are done so with the purpose of creating better game play. Each attribute is set at a certain range for a reason. I use large att's when needed to create the affect I want in game play.
    1. We used gettyimages.com for game day photos. In doing so we achieved about 96-100% matches for player skin color as well as all player equipment. This makes our roster look beyond real. This took about 2 hours each team.
    2. Thanks to 500bloc and puja, we used combine numbers such as 40 times, bench and vertical jump to update players as far back as 2000. We still kept our ratings in all other areas just used combine numbers for those three areas.
    3. Free agency updated as of 10-25-09
    4. 2009 NFL Draft rookies added. Rookie ratings are obviously not done to a tee, but are fairly close. Combine numbers were used, but fine tuning will happen at a later update,
There will be updates all the way through the 09-10 Season. any questions you can email me at jsou46@yahoo.com or pm me here. hope you guys enjoy, play a couple games and give me some feedback. thanks josh
The -25% formula Why it is used, and how to do it
The -25% formula, this is done to create a so called new difficulty level. When changing the pass coverage and run coverage by -25% using finns editor before you start a season, it allows the cpu teams to stay strong using large attributes while still keeping your attributes at a level that makes you play a very solid game to win. We had 8 guys play our 08 season with only 2 making the playoffs. For us, we have to use the -25%, when we didn't we all went 12-4, 13-3, 15-1 and so on, using it allows the game to be very difficult, but we all think that's the way an NFL season should be, not demolishing everyone each week, just my two cents though.
To do this start a season, take the game save from your hard drive using an action replay then put it on your pc. From there open up finns editor put the file in there and then go to tools-global editor-attributes. After that select ONLY your team your using for a season, then select the DE,DT,CB,FS,SS,OLB,ILB. After that select pass coverage and run coverage in the attribute section. For type select percentage, then click minus in the next box, and in the value box select 30. Then click the update button and your done. Then take the file using your action replay and put it back on your console. You then have a season where your team has the -30% formula and the rest of the league stats were they should, this enables one hell of a season. I tried to make it as easy as I could, hope that helps. We also now use a -30% for run blocking and change all of our defenders to a catch rating of 0.
To get the full effect of the roster you need to use the settings file, due to so many global edits linked to the settings file. At least try it and adjust from there. Game Casting will also give you the best results when simming franchise games.

            Roster is EXCELLENT!!!

I had to tweak the settings to 6 minutes.

My passing game is too good with my Bengals

                Hey everybody,

I'm tired of coming in here everyday and not seeing any what I'm looking for so I figured I'd post this myself.

I was just wondering if somebody was able to convert these files into PS3 files. I know this may sound like a dead horse, but seeing these roster updates and all the effort put into it, it's a shame half the users of NFL 2K5 can't benefit from JSOU's work cause all we have is a ps3.

So my question is THIS: Is somebody around here actually ABLE to convert the files or am I just having false hopes coming in here everyday?

                Thanks and good work JSOU.

Yes and no. People can do it but they dont seem to do it consistantly. I havent noticed anyone around doing it recently tho. I wouldnt check everyday, but i would check every so often.

Usually what happens is someone gets frustrated no one will help, they learn the process to do it themselfs, they convert a few and then usually arent heard from again. Part of the issue is that people seem to forget that when people do this stuff(make rosters, convert others rosters) they are doing us a favor. I am amazed when people start buggin guys if they arent finished quick enough.

if you do a quick search you will find a few ps3 threads with the same feeling you have. Since i dont have a ps3 i dont pay much attention to those threads but you might find someone you can pm to help you.

Thanks mate, makes me feel much better.

I know what it is to take things for granted. In fact, I'm really thankfull that there are STILL people out there (5 years and so on...) still updating this great football game. If I could update roster myself, I'd probably do like these people anyway; it's just human nature.

Maybe I'm asking too much, I shouldn't be around here anyway.

                    Thanks mate

Hey man I can feel your pain. I've been googling the net on how to convert Xbox files to Ps3 files and haven't found much.

Why is is so hard to convert a damn file? I read you ened somethign like a ARMAX but I'm not so sure. I come here everyday hoping somebody will show up and covert'em. I'd be so thankful.

                            Keep hoping....

it's really impressive how accurate these rosters are. I'm 6 games in, and the Saints are undefeated, the Vikes only have one loss (in the first GB game haha), the Colts undefeated etc...I'm playing with the Redskins, and I have lost every game lol. Just goes to show how accurate these rosters are though, with the good teams being where they should when simulated, and the bad teams being bad, like my Redskins. good job once again
