Don't do like me and install both discs to the hard drive from the Xbox dashboard. You have to install the 2nd disc from the menu within the actual game. I spent 30 head banging, teeth-gnashing minutes on figuring out why it said "install disc 2" in the game when I had already done it!
I'm not all that great with this design stuff, but I figured I'd personalize my Buick a bit. Still gotta fix a couple of things but it's fun playing around with these tools.
Love the game so far, and loved racing online with some OS'ers last night. We should do it again!
As or the design, I won't touch it (no time and patience) but if someone gets around to making a Denver Broncos or Minnesota Wild design, I'd gladly pay some credits for it.

You have no idea how frustrating it is to play the game for a month with a wheel, then suddenly on release day to have the pedals break and not register.
Have to hop online and drive like a complete jackwad with a controller after not having done that since PGR2.
If I make a custom vinyl shape, when I got to apply it to my car, can I adjust the size of the shape? I ask because there's some custom logos I'm planning on making but I wasn't sure which car I wanted to put them on so I was just going to make the shape first then stamp on my car of choice later.
Adjust shape, rotation, skew...flip it, spin it, etc.
You just layer a bunch of shapes on top of each other to design some of these crazy things you see.
cool. yeah I remember how the layering thing works from Forza 2. My thing is, in Forza 2 I just created all my designs right on the cars themselves instead of making shapes first and then stamping them on the cars, so I wasn't sure how that worked.
You can create a vinyl group and save it as just that. Unlike Forza 2, where it was loaded as an entire paint scheme (if I remember correctly), in Forza 3 you can save either the car itself or just the group. So if you make a "logo" for your designs, you can load that group and drop it on anything. I haven't tried to resize the group, though...is that what you're asking? Whether you can resize the entire group, or just a shape?

I really like the ability to make vinyls separately (as you all are discussing above)... I made a Virginia Cavaliers logo and it was so much easier to work with painting on a blank 2D workspace rather than on the side of a car. I put that logo up on my Storefront if anyone is interested, BTW.
Also, if anyone wants a sports team logo of some sort that isn't on the Storefront (or is available for more money than you want to spend), let me know and I can try to make it and then gift it to you. I enjoy working with the vinyl editor, for better or worse, and that feature is actually the reason I became a fan of the Forza series in the first place.
