NCAA Basketball 10 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions (PS3/360)

Well I played about 5 games of the demo. Played as both teams. I was BLOWN AWAY by the smooth and fluid gameplay.

The crowd and the presentation was definitely the winning factors of this game. I actually felt like I was watching a game on tv. At one point I was on the edge of my seat, caught up in the moment of the game as we were going bucket for bucket. (lol) I didn't want the demo to end (NBA Live 10 had this same effect on me when I played the demo). EA deserves props for bringing the excitement back to basketball video games while keeping true to the game.

Play calling was excellent, and defense in my opinion is better in NCAA 10 than in Live 10. Seems EA used Live 10 as the guinea pig to see how their new changes this year would go over. And NCAA is by far a more polished product (out-the-box) that is.

Bottomline: This game is by far the BEST college basketball video game to date. This game should put to rest the great debate about College Hoops 2K series being the the King. This game has raised the bar not only for college basketball games but for sports gaming as a whole. With a combination of extrememly nice and smooth gameplay, beautiful graphics, and the best presentation ever in a college basketball game........

This game is a MUST BUY in my eyes for all True Basketball Fans!!!

That remains to be seen. I'm waiting on a game to dethrone that one so I still have it. Neither of the 09 NBA games could make me ditch that game

Can anyone else give me insight on this statement?

I'm just not a 2K fanboy like a lot of cats on this forum. To me in my eyes.....I love this game so far. By the way I own College Hoops 2K8, and as good as that game was @ the time, this is a new day. NCAA 10 has the potential to be an all time great. Depends on the final product and yes the Dynasty mode in the game.

Now one this I love about College Hoops 2K8 was the weekly shows every Saturday with Bryan Gumbal and Clark Kellog. That would recap all the games off the week with highlights and good commentary that sounded relevant to what was truly happening during the season. That is a feature that 2K did very well, and EA has yet to implement that into their games. And you would think they would by now. They tried with Madden 10 with that Extra Point Bull****, but that is an epic fail. Voice over was terrible. But if they could implement that into the game for NCAA 10 or 11, especially with the CBS and ESPN presentation, it would be a great game.

We will just have to wait and see, but you have to admit.....this is a huge step from what the game used to be. I am excited what they come with in the future......

(But I do wish 2K was able to do NFL games again, that **** is just wrong EA!!!)

I am enjoying the demo. One thing I don't like is around the rim. The collisions/weird animation shots are killing me. It just doesn't look natural a lot of the time down there. Just had a fun gmae tied it up at 12-12 with a last second putback from Singler.

I can't believe I'm using the dookies..

I uploaded a 9 minute vid to Youtube . . . the first I've ever done, but it still says it's processing and it's been almost 2 hours now. Should I delete it and re-upload it, or continue to wait?

Big #21 from UNC just hit a fadeway 3 from the top of the key against me. My CPU controlled players in a zone don't seem to know what it means to stay in their zone.

The last thing I need is another good bball game lol. I like NBA a lot more than college, but having all those teams to choose from is always fun. I may end up picking this up if I'm feeling the demo. Nice impressions so far.
