No Screening by my players?

Am I doing something wrong here....Whenever I play the CPU, I'm always seeing one of their players set up in front of the net waiting for a rebound or screen attempt. However, NONE of my players EVER do that. No matter what strategy I use, it's as if my guys are afraid to go to the front of the net. They might skate there AFTER the shot is taken, but rarely do I see them sit in front of the goalie like the CPU does, and try to create screens. Anyone else get this or any ideas??

I've wondered the very same thing.

I think thats a major part of my scoring problems. Unlike the cpu...I almost never have anyone camped out in front of the net, to bang in rebounds.

Also, I never seem to get any odd man rushes. Most times I enter the zone alone, and have to hit the brakes, and wait for my AI teammates to join me. Hopefully someone has some advice.

Yea...definitely annoying when your teammates have to catch up to you.

Play more dump & chase; cycle the puck more; play the boards more.

Try getting the puck down low and cycle or pass it around.....ive found that getting it down low....then back to the point diagonally will get the players to got to the net.

Use 2-1-2 Low.

And use Crash The Crease...though ive had players do this occasionally on the Behind the Net play.

Ah yes, I noticed this too. Last year in 09 my screener would actually be BEHIND the goalie. Now, I don't even see anyone setting up a screen in this game. Yet another reason I chose not to buy the game (borrowed from a friend).
