I fired up the demo and after 2 games I deleted it......

I'm not going to sugar coat it this game based on the demo is GARBAGE!

I was already straying away from NBA Live 10 because of the flaws in that game. These game is not even close to Live 10 IMO.

For years i've been a huge EA basketball fan would defend them for years. These game should have taken a step up in game play yet it took a 1-2 steps backwards. I'm sick of the animations and lack of identity by the players in this series.

I don't care how much presentation was added it's not enough to make me spend $60 on game that animates terrible. I can't believe 2 months ago this was a game i targeted big time. Now it's just another half azzz sports game that will get by only because it's the only college b-ball game on the market.

Granted I haven't spent much time with the demo, but the gameplay to me just feels wrong. College Hoops 2k8 was(is) an awesome game and I feel the gameplay in that game is spot on. However, with this game, game speed feels like it's going 100mph (players don't move at a realistic looking pace), animations look awful, the sound seems below average. The presentation is quite nice though. Overall, I'm unimpressed and will probably stick with College Hoops.

Still haven't played the demo since I'm on PS3 but from all the vids I've watched it looks like the game is definitely behind post-patch Live 10. It will be interesting to see what we get in the retail and if a patch is going to come for the game.

I may actually hold off on buying the game until we get news regarding a patch, I'm not going to buy this game if the gameplay is worse than Live.

EA always patches their sports games at least once. I think it's Sony and Microsoft's policy to give developers one free patch, and EA does a nice job of taking advantage of that.

Why the NCAA CBB doesnt have ONLINE DYNEASTY HELLOOOOO thats wht we do now. Can we get that PLEASE it would be so much fun to plya with my friends

Online Dynasty would be so sick. Hopefully, it will be in the game next year.

Seriously this game has improved 10 fold...

I'm REALLY liking this one guys...

The presentation,graphical style ,movement and animations all click.

It's not A+ stuff but it sure is solid stuff.

Can't wait for the full retail.

Something about it that makes it feel fun like CH2k2 on gamecube. And THATS a compliment coming from me I absolutely loved that game.

I guess if you just want to admire the graphics only.

I'm not a graphics whore.....i'm a game play whore and i want to see college players looking and moving like atheletic kids not guys in wheelchairs with robot movement.

I saw nothing out of UNC that resembles UNC's style of play. But hey maybe a guy who just wants to pick it up and play won't care about those things.

CPU AI is also terrible IMO. I can call a basic zone and they get flustered and start turning the ball over like highschool kids

is the 2-3 zone too overly effective again this year?

They turn the ball over like crazy it's like they don't recognize you switched to a zone defense.

I truly don't understand why EA never improves the awareness of the players in their sports games. It just leads to terrible AI behavior out of the box.

You would think that after 3-4 years they would work on AI logic/awareness

It's just as bad the flaw in Live 10 where guys totally ignore open players and force passes right into traffic or at a defender

I've already said why i think collegiate sports can not be done sim like in video games as opposed to pro sports already. pointless.

It plays how it plays i know exactly what kind of game they were going for. and trust me i heralded for more realistic and stat like play but they were going another direction entirely and they nailed it on that fact alone.

Why wouldn't college sports be good if it was treated with a SIM like approach?

Are you saying power house teams like UNC and Duke shouldn't play authentic or true to their style of play?

You think All-Americans should be no better than the 10th or 12th guy?

I'm confused because it seems like your saying if you want SIM style play you'll play Live 10 and if you want to just pick up and have fun style play you go with NCAA 10.

I didn't realize both versions couldn't be a SIM style......and to be honest that word SIM is kinda overated in Live 10 to be honest with you.

I like the game it really makes you play real basketball where you have to swing the ball around the perimeter. The only thing I don't like is when ever your in the paint that steal animation other then that I will be buying it on the first day. Also I noticed when I quite the demo that it said a feature Dynamic RPI and stats what do you guys think this means. Hopefully we will get some info on this feature I love the demo and can't wait to play with the Hawkeyes.

Crowd is horrible. I'm Duke, I have the ball, game is tied with 20 seconds to go. Camera zooms out, screen shakes and it makes it hard to concentrate. I hit the last second shot and literally no explosion of crowd noise. Kind of disappointing. Hopefully the crowd reacts more realistically in the retail game. They should be going nuts when the visiting team has the ball and they should chant when the home team has the ball.

I know crowd does not even cheer when you have a breakaway dunk either, truely pathetic.

I only played like 3 choppy games last night but if you guys are expecting the gusto of audio from a demo youre crazy.
