Most Rushing yards in Madden

I found a roster save on my ps2 from Madden 2002 franchise and I had seen that I had rushed 2,833 yards with Eddie George (Titans) LOL. I was only 15 so I wasn't really into sim style football. That has been far and away my most rushing yards in any Madden since I started playing in it 2000.

What is the most rushing yards you had with 1 player in any season or any madden?

I had 2000 yards with Emmitt Smith on Madden '98 for the Saturn. It was one of those games where players never seemed to get injured for whatever reason so 40 carries a game was no problem. Now I have a hard enough time getting a guy 20 carries a game before he comes up lame.

4,000 plus, Madden 2002, Ricky "yes I'll hit that joint" Williams. Pure awesomeness.

I had 5,000 yard with LT in Madden 2005. Back then and now with Madden 10 i wasn't that good at the passing game so i ran it 95% of the time i had over 40 rushing TD's with him too. I think that was the year the hit stick came out too. so it was even easier to run over people and get those extra yards

I had 5,000 yard with LT in Madden 2005. Back then and now with Madden 10 i wasn't that good at the passing game so i ran it 95% of the time i had over 40 rushing TD's with him too. I think that was the year the hit stick came out too. so it was even easier to run over people and get those extra yards

Nice, I had 22 rushing TD's with big Eddie in 2002. Rushing for 5,000 yards is insane. I haven't had a 2,000 yard rusher ever since that unforgettable season (became more of a sim player in 03).

I haven't done that since then either got better at passing when the passing cone came out. Plus i had a ****ty QB and WR's at the time as i had to rush it like that. online i've had over 300 yards rushing in a game once forget what madden it was but that guy thought i was using a cheat or something. but i looked at his stats and everyone he played so far passed alot more than they ran so he wasn't ready to play someone that runs it 60% of the time.

Using Adrian Peterson, i had over 2000 yards rushing halfway through the season, breaking his own rushing record 3 times, before i decided that playing with the vikings in my franchise was way too cheap, and that games weren't fun anymore.

I ran for just over 2000+ with DeShaun Foster when he was playing for the Panthers on madden 06 i think.

2,656 11 TDs with Michael Bennett, who would be my first trade all the time back when we allowed 2 trades/franchise in multi-user chises!

That same year I picked up some big but fast FB and converted him to RB so I had my own version of Thunder/Lightning and he had 1,600 and 16 TDs. I used to run a run, run, run, then run some more offense, with an occasional pass deep down the field. I actually had a WR with like 1200 yds and 10 TDs but he was my leading reciever with like 35 catches - they just all happen to be big bombs to that 99 spd WR who I think was 69 OVR when that season started!!!

Gosh, just thinking bout those days makes me sad - you used to actually be able to get two profiles loaded at once - I miss those days!!!

I used to always trade for Michael Bennett.. His speed was awesome. Had like 5 straight 1800+ seasons with him. Also Trung Canidate was pretty fast aswell

I traded for Felix Jones in the second year of my Pats franchise, and he's a beast.

On All-Pro difficulty (10 min Qs w/15 sec ACC) I rushed for 2613 yards and 43 TDs, taking the MVP and the single-season rushing/TD record. I had two weeks where I ran for 270+ yards, but couldn't quite break APs record of 296 in a single game.

I also had an Off Coordinator that gave my HBs a +3 in SPD, taking Jones up to 99, and that helps.

In Madden 2005 I used LT to rush for over 2,400 yds and 31 TDs in on Dynasty season! He was unstoppable!

2721 yards with Ahman Green back in Madden 05. I didn't really even cheese that much, just had a bunch of solid games and then there would be a big play broken seemingly in everyone of them to make it from a solid game to a great game. He never got hurt and didn't fumble as much as in real life so it worked out pretty well. I got 20 TD's that year and didn't pass much because when your run game works whats the point in getting away from it.

I remember a 1600yd, 20td season with cedric benson once.. pre-truck stick.. whole lotta 'cover ball' that season.
