#10 Iowa @ #11 Ohio State-Winner is Rose Bowl Bound

Huge matchup in the Big 10. Today is the in-season Big 10 Championship. Iowa is coming off their 1st lost to Northwestern while Ohio State is coming off a huge win at Happy Valley. Iowa is without their starter Stanzi and is starting a RS Freshman, his first ever college start. Pryor for Ohio State has looked good since the Purdue fiasco and is not making mistakes and is looking much more poised.

I think Iowa stands no chance here. I was really looking forward to this matchup but without Stanzi and facing a top 5 Ohio State defense its going to be a long day for Iowa's offense. Hopefully Pryor continues to improve and keeps playing smart and OSU should be ok.

It's hard to pick Iowa, with the situaiton they are in.

I don't expect that freshman quarterback to perform like Matt Barkley did in the shoe.

Vanden Berg was a stud in high school (as if the talking heads haven't told you already), but there's a difference between 3A ball in Iowa and playing at Ohio State. Iowa can win, but they would have to play a PERFECT game. I'm trying to remain optimistic, even though the odds are totally against us.

They have a top 5 defense in the entire country and an offense that has improved immensely over the year.

Even though Iowa is going to have a LOT of trouble on offense, they're still a force on defense. I don't see us dropping more than 20 on them.

True, but this defense is much better than the ones of the past few years especially along the defensive line.

Ohio State's defense of the past few seasons has been extremely overrated especially when you look at the stats, I mean can anyone honestly say that the 2007 defense was the #1 in the nation?

Sidenote - Ohio State has four consecutive AP top 10 finishes... get off our nuts.

Thanks I know what he meant, what I meant is he said nothing about the game today and just came in here to bash OSU and troll. Now I do think that USC and Oregon should be ranked above Ohio State.
