I still can't believe he did that.

I mean, yeah, P. Manning is plenty capable of going 60+ yds for a TD, but still - giving him a 30 yd field...he didn't kill the game, but he basically loaded a gun with bullets in every chamber but one and handed it to Manning.

Heck, if he didn't think his defense could stop a 60 yd drive, what made him think they could stop a 30 yd drive.

And why throw a pass on 4th and 2? And why not a 3yd hitch to Moss or Welker? Why Faulk? Heck, a QB Draw (or even a HB Draw) would have made more sense. They DL would be going for the pass rush - probably would have been an easy get.

It was a bad decision but I see why he did it, his defense couldn't stop Manning (kinda like in Madden defense is pretty much worthless) and if he would have gotten the first down it would have been game over. It didn't work out and he looks like a noob from Madden, maybe he's the guy I keep playing online who never punts. Who knows...

There is this thing where he has Tom Brady and Randy Mos and Wess Welker an Kevin Faulk on Offense and only Jared Mayo and Vince Wilfork on defense. If you can't get those 2 yards with your stars on offense, which they didn't, they don't deserve to win, which they didn't. With the time left on the clock, that D wasn't going to stop the Colts. The Pats D was having a hard time containing the pass all day. MY friend who is just learning football was commenting on all the flat out drops by the colts receivers. Everyone knew that if the Colts could catch a few passes they'd march down and score.

It didn't help that the Pats fumbled the ball on the goal line instead of taking an other wise game winning score.

Going for it all the time on 4th i cheese, and going for it on 4th by throwing to the flats in Madden is cheese. Going for it with one of the most talented offenses in the NFL to close the game is not cheese or a bad choice. it just looks bad because they lost. I am biased because even I said before they went for it that thy should go for it. I think my record shows I hate cheese play and am a very sim gamer. there are times when you just go for it. This was one of them. It was a win or lost play and the Pats lost. That's life. They'll still make the play offs and they will still be one of the best teams going into the post season.
