I don't understand this. Is it because of licensing issues? For example... Baron Davis is only able to wear generic shoes.

Players are tied to shoes they are licensed to but some guys like Baron I would have to look into and see what can be done about it.

The thing I hate about shoes is the fact that when you sign a free agent or trade him he have to manual change his shoes

Can you take the locks off of anyone how wears generic shoes? I've noticed mostly all of the rookies wear generics. Taking the lock off everyone that doens't have a sneaker deal would help out a lot.

        Thanks

          this this this.

We haven't gotten any updates and with marcus leaving I'm assuming it won't happen anytime soon. Please take the locks off, I don't care about updates, in fact I actually enjoy manually updating players myself. It's no hassle and no big deal.

Is it at all possible for the game to update DNA without overwriting my saved edited roster. I have nigh on every player looking like their real life counterpart in terms of gear now, an everytime I download a DNA update it goes back to default gear. Having to manually re-upload the roster every session is a pain in the long run.

Just save your roster as a 'custom roster'. The DNA roster is its own file.

update will likely be Tuesday night, late. Not all the shoe changes will be in it, but a lot will.

To someone else's question, yes, guys are locked to brands for licensing. What sucks is generics are stuck with generics. We'll look to change that for next year.

So the DNA changes will be reflected in my custom roster? That's essentially what I'm asking.
