RBs subbed into WRs while i have fresh WRs on the bench?

this happens all the time for me. some of my starting 5 WRs get tired and sub out, but the game puts in HBs and FBs instead of one of my other WRs.

anyone know how to fix this? it's killed drives many times.

i have 9 WRs just to try and prevent that

Have you altered your Fatigue setting? When I tried some of the customer slider settings for sub in / sub out and the fatigue, I ended up with some really crazy things happening. I had WR's getting subbed in for entire drives for CB's in the 3rd quarter because the CB's couldn't get their max stamina back up. Sounds like you got some of that going on.

1st - Check the Fatigue Setting under Settings > Game Settings > Fatigue Slider

2nd - Check Your Subs in Franchise under Team Management > Substitutions (? not sure about this one, can someone else verify?)

i did set them to basically run my receivers till they die on the field in an effort to keep them out there and subbing back in as much as possible

do you think i should go back to the default setting?

my whole thing is, even if my top 6 is fatigued, shouldnt the AI sub in actual receivers in the bench (of which there are 3 more) instead of fullbacks and halfbacks?

Yeah. That's exactly what I did. What happens is that when you keep them out there longer, their overall stamina (lets say it starts out at 100) decreases faster. So if you have it set that they need it to be 80, it gets to the point that they can't reach that and they are basically out of the game. Wasn't intuitive when I did it, took me until the 4th quarter until I realized what had happened. Couldn't figure out what a WR was doing on defense! lol
