i remember the sideline view being a bit closer than broadcast in '09.

CB Thanks for doing this I have two questions as I plan on getting the game later in the week to start slider work etc...

1)is there a global edit of attributes? Like in NBA Live where you can edit every player globally?

2)Have they gotten around to providing numbers with their sliders?

One of the producers promised that they would put numbers in...

If these two things are not in. they are focusing on making this game more pick up and play and not simulation style which i felt what the demo was after...

i liked the demo but only the fun factor

1) no..I don't see a global edit of attributes feature, unless I'm overlooking it somehow. I've looked everywhere I thought it would be, but I'm not seeing it.

If any of you guys jump into Dynasty, can you check what season tourneys they have? Is it just the Maui invitational?

Just jumped into dynasty to check this out. Got invited to the Maui as UK. You can't schedule a tourney yourself like you can with College Hoops. They have a few preseason tourneys in the tournament game mode of the main menu:
-Maui Invitational
-Old Spice Classic
-Puerto Rico Tipoff
-NIT Tipoff
-Anaheim Classic

I don't know if all of these are included in Dynasty, but if they are you have to be invited.

the scheduling in this game SUCKS like last year.

Still playing back to back nights in conference play and teams still able to turn you down.

In terms of recruting... out of the ESPN's Top 100 prospects, I only counted 7 to be 5 star players, the rest were 4 star players.

The interface is still the same, but its a little easier to navigate.

If anyone can sim a season and post some stat leaders for both team and individuals that would be great. PPG, RPG, APG, FG%, 3PT%, even minutes per game, etc. Just want to check the sim engine and if it improved over last year.

I do have a few general questions. NOTE: I didn't get the game last year, so I don't know what the options were in 'NCAA 09 (regardless if they are the same this year).

-I'm sure you can change lineups/starters, etc., but is there any way to influence playing time with a slider? Is there a depth chart or slots for bench depth/rotations? Or do players only get playing time based on ratings?

-Can you change/edit faces to other preset faces? I don't mean individual features like eyes/nose, hair color, etc., but if say EA's default UK #54 player had a huge afro, could you choose a different head model that had different hair? Or if a player is mistakenly the wrong race/color...can you change that, or are you stuck with default?

-Can you change/edit equipment? Add or take off t-shirts, arm bands, shoes, etc?

-Can you add tattoos to players?

-And lastly, and at your own convenience (and if you happen to name a team or two)...do you hear the commentators say names from a database much during gameplay...ex. "Wall with the dunk," etc...and do the PA announcers say names after a score?

Thank you! Again, I apologize for not knowing the answers to this stuff from the '09 version, but the answers to these questions will help influence my decision to buy (and perhaps others?)

imo, yes. I enjoyed last year's game very much. But the biggest draws for '10 over '09 are in my opinion:

*on court gameplay is sooooo much better. No more 2-3 zone being shutdown defense. New motion offense really adds to this aspect as well.


*recruiting and sim logic in dynasty mode.

Didn't say anything about classic teams, havent checked that out yet.

Some of the attributes are messed up though, Wall 3pt is 90 (too high) and Dodson 3pt is 63 (Way too low) thats all I noticed so far, I'll have to see if anything else is way off.
