Do you mean you didn't use the "pool" of names the game offers, and you just typed in the names yourself without using their suggestions? I think that would be why names arent being announced then (same last year, i think?)

This. UK fans know there team, make fun of us all you want, but Perry Stevenson being ranked higher than Wall, Cousins, Bledsoe, Orton, etc, the rest of the team is hilarious. I will have to seriously lower his rankings and tinkle with harrelsons as well, and Wall, Bledsoe, and Patterson may be too low, I will have to compare them to UNC's rankings, Kansas, etc.

Classic teams being eliminated is pretty sad, I wish they at least would have left the classic uniforms in there as alternates. Why the hell would they take that out?

This game sounds like it's the epitome of 'bare bones', based on what people are saying so far I wouldn't be surprised if EA decided to can this series after this year. Sounds like gameplay got ported over from Live and some cool extras were taken out. It sounds like they're putting in minimal effort to this game outside of the presentation.

The player ratings are still a joke too. Patterson and Stevenson on the same level, so dumb. No wonder so many players play a like in this game, the UK roster is so close in overall ratings from player to player. The Blue Ribbon stuff is a joke this year just like it was last year - I'm sure the low-majors will be a huge disaster again this year.

At least we've got arm sleeves and black socks, is there still a wide selection of sneakers? Also, can we edit jumpshots for each player? Is there a wide variety of jumpshot styles that you've noticed while playing or do much guards have the same two or three shots?

Despite all the negatives I'll still be buying this game tomorrow obviously, I'm too much of a college basketball fan to pass on it.

FWIW, last year you had to enter names in all caps since thats what they were in the suggestion thing, it wouldn't say the names otherwise

Yea, I already pre-ordered it from amazon.com (which it didn't ship today for some reason, wtf) or I might have reconsidered after hearing some of these impressions. I wanna run with my UK wildcats though and love college hoops as you do, but I never thought Perry "freakin" Stevenson would be my anchor to leading my team to the final four LMAO EA come on!

I'm almost positive that you are wrong and it doesn't matter. Announcers just rarely say names in their database. Someone with the game needs to test this out (if they have time).
