not sure I understand the question Hustlin.

you were mentioning preseason tournaments not being played unless user team is playing in a tourney. Was stating could this be because you do not have the dynamic update, but again what about future seasons

Thanks to countryboy and other who have given impressions, much appreciated! I wonder if you can edit ratings while inside dynasty mode? It appears the game really needs it, just hope we are able to do this once we have named rosters.

Still on the fence myself. I really like some of the gameplay elements, and held off on Live. I know the situation regarding the game, but even then am still really bothered by how incomplete it seems. Sigh. I guess I have the "other game" insurance policy just in case.

we are talking about the #1 player out of high school and the projected #1 draft pick in 2010.

This. UK fans know there team, make fun of us all you want, but Perry Stevenson being ranked higher than Wall, Cousins, Bledsoe, Orton, etc, the rest of the team is hilarious. I will have to seriously lower his rankings and tinkle with harrelsons as well, and Wall, Bledsoe, and Patterson may be too low, I will have to compare them to UNC's rankings, Kansas, etc.

Amen to that...What were they thinking...that's the #1 player in the country we are talking about!

can you view other teams schedules in dynasty mode? If I am using UNC can I go and look at Duke's scheduke and results?

I don't think so. To be honest, I didn't really check to see, but I don't remember this being in the game last year and the dynasty menu options haven't changed.

I know you can edit and carry them over into dynasty mode, but I am not sure if you can edit while in dynasty mode.

If they release a Tournament Edition of this game like they did this past March, and you don't buy the retail copy, I'd think the TE would be a no-brainer to buy, at less than 20 bucks (considering the retail copy's price doesn't go lower than that at that time).

All the CBS Tourney presentation around tourney time really would get me pumped up to have fun - that's all that matters in the end.

my best description....unorganized. Guys don't get into proper position when trying to run a break, and the transistion is slow. I really don't know how else to describe it to be honest. I'll get a steal or loose ball or whatnot, and have, what should be a two on one or numbers, but my other guys without the ball are slow to react. Same thing with the cpu.

the transistion game is probably, imo at least, the weakest part of the gameplay.

Oh well, no College Basketball for me this season. Maybe next year.

Are transfers in there that have to sit out this year? An example would be Seth Curry @ Duke for next year. Will wear #3 for Dukies.

If they aren't in there, can you create a player and assign redshirt?

yes transfers are there as UofL has one in Chris Smith. He's in the game and available.

Didn't see an option to redshirt players.

I'm worried that the lack of communication from the devs is an indication that this game will not get patched and ultimately be shelved

I really hope that isn't the case and would make my decision a heck of a lot easier if we knew we'd see some sort of post-release communication.

I share the same sentiments as well.
