No redshirts, wow that is pathetic.

Let me clarify that statement a bit. I didn't see the option while editing players. I didn't attempt to redshirt while in dynasty mode. I just simmed seasons.

Not saying that redshirting is an option in dynasty mode, just that I can't say that its 100% in or out.

Thanks CB for all the impressions. My question is are your games competitive? I'm not a die hard basketball fan, but love the college atmosphere. So all the little things i probably won't notice. I just wanna know if the games are good? Is there a difference in competition? do you kill temple but struggle against duke? thanks

the demo was terrible, if the retail version is basically not completely different than the demo (which it obviously won't be) then theres no chance i buy this game. I was amazed at how bad the demo was. EA really needs to get a shot stick already.

the demo was terrible, if the retail version is basically not completely different than the demo (which it obviously won't be) then theres no chance i buy this game. I was amazed at how bad the demo was. EA really needs to get a shot stick already.

if you didn't enjoy the demo, then I wouldn't buy the game. What you saw in the demo is pretty much what you get in the retail version.

yes transfers are there as UofL has one in Chris Smith. He's in the game and available.

Didn't see an option to redshirt players.

yes. Last night, I played as UofL vs Northern Colorado and was up big at the half. (20 pts or so) Then I played UNC vs Duke and was tied at the half. Both games on the same settings.

The difference between good, average, and bad teams is very noticable.

he's immediately available. The game doesn't recognize him as a transfer. Now I'm not sure how transfers are handled after your first dynasty season..(ex: after season 1 John Wall transfers to Duke), I'm not sure if he has to sit out a year or not. My guess would be he wouldn't, but NCAA Football actually had this correct so we'll see.

I'm glad that there isn't a shot stick because I like the dribble moves I can pull of with the Right stick.

I just think it's a little early to be bashing player ratings. We're like 2 games into the season. John Wall hasn't earned much yet so I'm not sure why everyone wants him as a freakin' 95+ rating already???

We are Kentucky fans, of course we want him with a 105 rating, haha...I'm kidding. You make a good point. We just know he won't be there next year, so we will have to use him while we can!

if you didn't enjoy the demo, then I wouldn't buy the game. What you saw in the demo is pretty much what you get in the retail version.

thats what i figured. If people thought NCAA Football was fast, this game is faster. Being someone that plays NBA 2k and uses the shot stick, i can't go back to pressing square to shoot, especially because the shooting motions are terrible and dont dictate whether the shot is going in. In NBA 2k, the guy goes through his shooting motion and when he follows through you release just like a real life shot. In the demo i played, it made no difference what adjustments i made to the shot (hold it longer, shorter, etc), i cant get a consistancy. Not to mention the right stick made it way too easy to get by people, deflections were horrible, could hardly read the player indicators underneath the guy to tell who was who. It was just a really bad game. And it upsets me because its the only college game around.

1 thing i will say tha ti was really impressed with was the presentation. Having ESPN & CBS is something ive been wanted NCAA Football to do (ABC, ESPN, etc.) and having multiple broadcast teams as well. The presentation was spot on.

Has anyone checked to see if it is possible to edit players in the midst of a dynasty? It was nice to be able to do this in College Hoops, so that in year 2 you could add/edit the incoming freshman.
