This flipping game is so addicting. I can't stop playing it. My wife told me that If it mysteriously disappears, don't look hard cause I won't find it! May cost my marriage but oh well... Has anyone seen 3 secs in lane?

Didnt call it a game killer so please dont put words in my mouth

I like to create players from the NBA in their younger days, like guys who never went to the NCAA, KG, Kobe, Bron, etc... so I can deal with faces not matching up 100% or whatever but I'd at least like to be able to pick the same shots as they have in the NBA counterpart. Thats not much to ask is it?

Yes, they have the navy alternates too. I believe they were correct in 09 as well.

Played my first game about 10 minutes ago. I played 15 minute halves, and won 46-35 over Cleveland St. with Wright St.

Like others have stated, fatigue needs to be raised a lot, I had it at 80 the first game, and it was still pretty easy to keep guys in for a long time(although this will probably be more balanced when I move it to 20 min halves).

Loved the presentation. The crowd was lacking, but that's probably because it was at Wright St. I'm just going to lower the announcer volume and turn up the volume on my tv to get a louder crowd.

I think there might be too many missed layups, because I had a few people missing wide open layups. My center was 0-6 from the floor and all were layups besides one. I think two where he was well defended, one where it was pretty even, and two where he was open. I made about 3 layups the whole game. It's only been one game though, I'm going to see how it fairs in the next couple games I play.

My star player played like one, which I loved to see. Overall, I'm liking this game. It's not perfect by any means, but it's pretty fun.

Edit: Also, forgot to mention that the cpu was called for two illegal screens.

I actually haven't played a game yet today, did some rosters and I'm watching the two games at MSG tonight. But I have no plans on leaving Varsity.

I dig varsity as well. I'm getting a good foul balance. Turning the in air back to default was huge.

Bro...I am with you about Varsity and your theory behind it.....but I just find myself blowing teams out by 20 to 30, if not more, every time. What are you doing to keep the games competitive??

I know this isn't your 1st go around with this game......please tell me your secret, because I am there with you, but I need the games to be at least a little competitive.

I don't know, maybe I suck because I'm just playing my usual game on default and having close games when I should. I want to make the CPU's offense a little more potent but that's all I really have in mind. I might make the CPU's post defense a little more stiff as well.

What are you finding that's too easy? Too many made jumpers? Too easy to get past your defender with the dribble? CPU's offense not good enough? CPU's offense miss too many shots? What is your general style of play?

Honestly on default Varsity the cpu's D and my O is perfect for how I play, I run a lot of plays and don't iso or just randomly try to drive by guys. Maybe if I try that varsity will be too easy. I'm also rolling with UConn so I rarely make a friggin three.

What's your FG% as a team when you play on varsity? When I played Georgetown my FG% was under 40.

I try to play very close to what The Irish do In real life. A lot of drive and kick outs, some pick and roll to Luke...motion offense and use Jackson and Hansbrough outside the perimeter.

I suck at iso...so no not really anything that different than what happens in a real game for the Irish. My shooting % last night as I played The Hawkeyes in Iowa....

Irish 47%
Hawkeyes 42%

In regards to my talent for the game...If there was a level between AC and AA...that would be my level. I have not lost on AC to anyone, and I struggle to stay in the game on AA.

Read ehh's blog on the game. Very accurate. The game really keeps you going with presentation and gameplay. For me, it is the best of 09 in terms of fun factor. I know many will vote the show as best, and rightfully so, but I played baseball in college and it did nothing for me. Hopefully you wont feel the same with hoops
