Re: NCAA Basketball 10 Available, Post Impressions Here
I am getting open looks after running my offense (which is a good thing) but I can't make much from the outside with UConn. I think my highest 3PT shooter is like a 72 or something terrible. I need to use a team with some nasty shooters and see how things go on varsity."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

One thing I am really glad they added this year in the CAP is the huge addition to the amount of pre made faces. There are a whole lot more this year, and they finally have long hair. I'm still dissapointed we don't have a face creator, but this helps me look past it this year.Comment

Guys, just upped difficulty to AA. Loving it! Can't just plow people or ball is picked. Have to switch defense up often especially on runs. It doesn't seem as fast as AC. I am playing default AA sliders except fatigue at 95, blocking fouls and reach in 100, 65 shooting, in air 53. Give it a shot, see a lot different animat. hadnt seen beforeComment

this is what I've been playing on and I am absolutely enjoying it. I've blown out inferior opponents, been blown out by superior opponents and everything in between.Guys, just upped difficulty to AA. yeah free throws are a pain in the butt. But after building an entire subdivision with bricks, you'll get the timing down.

Re: NCAA Basketball 10 Available, Post Impressions Here
I just picked up the game. I have to give it up to Country Boy on this one. Normally I hate his posts because he just comes off as a biased EA homer like he is on their payroll. EA can do no wrong in his eyes. Well, I read all his impressions on this game and I have to say they appeared pretty objective, or as objective an EA kool aid drinker can be. I must say he did a pretty honest job of speaking of the positives and negatives of the game and even went looking for stuff that might be wrong, then volunteering the information.
This is my first EA basketball game in a very LONG time. I generally prefer 2k's roundball games over EA's and played a lot of CHOOPS 2K8 and NBA 2K8. After 2 games I have to admit this game has some promise. I'm trying to keep a level head hoping it's not just hte novelty. I'm looking forward to getting to know this game better. So far I'm satisfied with my purchase. I'm hopefull I'll be saying that a month from now.
BTW, I played on AC with my fouls in the 80 to 100 range and I got a lot of fouls. I had them in the 90s with blocking/charging at 100 and in air fouls at 100 and thought they were excessive. I've since dropped my shooting fouls to 65 and the others to 80 or 85 (sorry don't have the exact numbers). It might be the way I play because I like to drive to the hoop or drop inside. But then again the cpu picks up a lot of fouls as well. I also don't understand how some of you guys are playing on 20-min halves and keeping the scores in the 60s and 70s. In my 2nd of two games my Miami team lost at Syracuse 78 to 54 on 12 minute quarters, AC settings with only slider changes being fouls, fatigue and then game speed at 48. Maybe I just suck at defense.
The commentary is repetitive. I'm glad they have 2 announcing crews to help with that. Maybe I'll do a better impression when I get more time with it. Thanks to everyone who gave impressions.----------

I don't see how you guys are playing on AA, Albanmy looks like a team of All Americans against my UVA. They dominate the boards, get every lose ball, their center handles the ball like a guard and never makes a bad pass out of a double team all the while hitting fade away jumpers from 15 feet with 2 guys in his face.Comment

LOL, I know.... goodness.
This game should prove to everyone how far great presentation can take a sports game. I can't get over how great the game looks with these overlays. It's amazing...YNWAComment
