I don't see how you guys are playing on AA, Albanmy looks like a team of All Americans against my UVA. They dominate the boards, get every lose ball, their center handles the ball like a guard and never makes a bad pass out of a double team all the while hitting fade away jumpers from 15 feet with 2 guys in his face.

hmmm. I'm not seeing that but only on second game. Remember that you can't free wheel a lot. You have to call plays and get open looks. I'm playing Iowa with MD and I'm in a battle 51-50 4 to go. On varsity I was scoring in the 80's so I like these tough battles.
It sounds like that you are seeing what I saw in AC

It sounds like that you are seeing what I saw in AC

I don't freewheel much, The thing that bothers me is I can't make any stops. Albany just had me down 28 to 12 at home, they were shooting 72% and had no turnovers through 8 minutes. It just seems like sometimes you play a game on here and it does not matter who you play or what you do with the sliders. I had my sliders way up and the CPU's block on zero and they were blocking me like Lebron James in the olympics.

No I have never seen a travel called ,and I have played upwards of twenty games already since yesterday.

Just played a game with speed lowered. I really like it set between 40-42!!! Plays much better in my opinion. Slows action a bit and easier to penetrate better.

That said I still dislike the lack of fastbreaks. When you do have break opportunity, Your players don't ever sprint downcourt, and definitely don't fill lanes. And, if you turbo with your pg you outrun your entire team. The turbo is almost too powerful regardless what game speed is set at. I hope this can get patched or adjusted as well.

This game is cool, but I swear it is behaving strangely, some games feel right you get beat by a better team etc.. you win aginst a cupcake, then all of a sudden your playing a cupcake team and they have 5 NBA players instead of their actual roster. Freewheeling or not, a team like Pacific should not be able to dominate a bigger ACC school in the paint. They killed me on the boards,was not even close, I turned my crash boards on made no difference. I could not tell the difference between Pacific or Duke.

Yeah AA is not for me, waaay too much contact on drives. Vechi and CB, I don't know if you guys played Live or not (I know CB didn't) but that gets really, really old after a while. It's at a point where there's contact from the defender on 95% of layup attempts, just gets ridiculous and frustrating.

Yeah AA is not for me, waaay too much contact on drives. Vechi and CB, I don't know if you guys played Live or not (I know CB didn't) but that gets really, really old after a while. It's at a point where there's contact from the defender on 95% of layup attempts, just gets ridiculous and frustrating.

I think AC is the way to go, but I have tried alot of slider adjustments with no luck, still getting ruffed up on the boards, turnovers, blocks, and speed on fast breaks from opposing centers.

I don't know what to do currently, I have tried to find a level that works but its getting near dark on this front. I wish we had last years sliders, we need to be able to turn down cpu speed and defensive awareness. I don't want to mess with the cpu's shot but I have exhausted all other outlets.

Steve was saying he was having issues as well. Do you think if you turned down in air coll. way down it would help?

I did play live. loved it until patch and then no go. I'm holding it, praying for patch 2

Have finally had a chance to get some games in...

First impressions...

Graphically? Overall it has a polished look very much like live

Minus the shoulders of player models on the skinniest build the player models are very decent
(quick quib for those wondering about face editing etc) You CAN do a decent job trying to recreate guys. the hairstyles and player faces are pretty decent from a face model standpoint. You have the option of about over 60 or so hairstyles and then face models along with skin complexion

Accessories look better than Lives hands down.

Presentations? I think everyone who has played it knows. however what i didn't know about were the replays! Simply awesome.

Basic gameplay out of the box? VERY decent. It's just smoother this year so much so not to mention animation wise it's gotten an overhaul.

On the debate between this and Live? I can't be biased as I've gotten my NBA Live 10 to play fantastically...Probably will be the case for this game as well...

Very happy with the game so far initially...

I think all the in air coll effects is the fouls called on that, it doesn't effect the amount of it you see unfortunately.

I'm still going to stick with Varsity, problem is I have no idea where to start to make it a little tougher. With no awareness or help D effectiveness slider I'm stumped at the moment.

I just got done bumping the difficulty up and I am with you on that one. I really hope someone can figure this out because I love the smoothness of the gameplay on varsity. The collisions down low kill me.
