Coaches Names in Dynasty?

Anyone else notice that coaches names reset to the default names even if you named them? At least that's what happens on the awards screen. Not sure if they still are named during game overlays?

I had the same thing happen to me. I named all the coaches before I ever started and they are not there. It really pissed me off at first but then I got to thinking that if there is no coaching changes other than me what difference does it make. I mean when I am 30 years into my career I don't want a old guy like Jim Calhoun still coaching,lol.

It took me a minute to figure this out. You have to press start after entering each name, otherwise they reset. What sucks is that it kicks you back to the menu.

I am using the named rosters from this website and all the coaches are named.

how do you check in dynasty, do you have to wait until games when coaches names appear?

Not for sure about dynasty, i have not started one yet.
But in play now mode the names are there.

I started a dynasty and the coaches are all there. make sure you are not starting with default rosters.

At least on the PS3 side, when you play online you are prompted for a 'roster update.' This creates a roster file on your HD called ONLINEROSTER_0. I think this file is player names, no player edits, and no coach names as they don't show up online. I've found that the system likes to load up this roster file, which may be why you don't see coaches names offline sometimes. After playing online, go into the Saved Data Utilty to delete it to make sure it doesn't get loaded.
