Prediction: Patch Comes Out Before Thanksgivings

I predict the patch comes before Thanksgivings on purpose to increase sales on black friday intentionally. Microsoft probably had a hold of the patch for some now and it wouldn't surprise me if EA told them to hold it off.

Very much doubt it drops before December. They haven't even released the document that says what it does. That was talked about 2 weeks ago....where the heck is it???

I started a thread about Clinton Portis retiring, only to have it closed before I could reply to a few different posts.

the patch won't be released in the near future.

I think you are overestimating how much a potential patch can affect sales.

The overwhelming majority of potential buyers will have no idea about the patch (and likely, don't even know what the purpose of patches in general). Those who do know about the patch either (a) have the game already, or (b) will re-buy the game used.

I just want it to come out soon. Madden 10 is a solid game and I can see myself playing the post-patch version for a long time to come.

I like this game but I really want to play franchise. I am waiting for the sim stats to be fixed.

i dont think this patch will ever come out.. that being said Madden 10 is a good game and I'm enjoying it for the most part...
