You'll probably run into a season with a lot of snow in back to back games to represent "bad weather". The weather in franchise games are scripted, so if you don't see snow right now in your first season, then you won't when you restart your franchise when the patch comes out either. Maybe some fellow Cleveland users can tell you when to expect snow.
