Because right now penalties are random. It would be nice if I had a reason to get mad at my players instead of just getting mad at the game.

Each player could have a discipline rating, so if a lineman has a low discipline rating, you'll see that guy get called for holding and false starts more often. It will also allow for a more realistic amount of penalties, because right now I only see 2-3 a game.

It would be perfect for pass interference too. Also it would add a new depth to coaching, as you could hire a coach with a high discipline rating, and his team would have less penalties. I would also like to see penalties as a stat, so we can see this in action.

What do you guys think?
