From what I can tell the biggest complaint is the eye sore the vision cone was on the field. Why not make the cone transparent. The only example I can think of is on Windows 7 when you hover over the show desktop tab in the bottom right hand corner you see a transparent square of where all of your windows are open.

Secondly, for those who don't like the vision cones mechanics, give us an option. Turn it off by default for Rookie and Pro, and on for All-Pro and Madden. Then have it as an On/Off option for all difficulty levels.

The only debate I can think of after that is to have on or off for online ranked games. I don't play online so I can't speak for that community.
