Co-op Association - Thoughts and Observations
Anybody else been playing this way? I've logged a ton of games both co-op and single player and have had two very different experiences with the two modes. My single player HOF difficulty Kings franchise sees us at close to .500 struggling in most games but remaining competitive. I've been running a co-op Association on HOF difficulty with the Thunder but we are getting absolutely BLASTED every game. I've tried adjusting sliders, adjusting defense, adjusting ratings but the cpu ALWAYS shoots up around 75% in our games. We are shooting about 45-50% which is about right and averaging anywhere from 85-95 points a game. We give up over 120 a game. Maybe it's the way we play the game but I was just wondering if anyone out there has had success in co-op Association games. We are sitting at 0-13 right now and on the verge of just cashing it in or restarting with a stacked team. I also believe the sliders are somehow off when the co-op Association games are played as well. What is everyone else seeing with this?Tags: None -

can you play co-op association games online? As in you are on your xbox and your teammate is on a different xbox? -

Still might have to give it a try. Is it limited to one other play for association co-op?Comment

Re: Co-op Association - Thoughts and Observations
Interestingly enough I had the complete opposite result, where my friend and I would rip it up while it was more difficult for just myself. This was, however, awhile ago and utilized rosters/sliders he had set up himself. But yes there did seem to be a completely different way the game played and felt while playing co-op. This was offline btw.Comment

Just one other player is the limit...it would be nice if you could run with more. I've also noticed something a little scarier in stats not showing up for my team in the nba.com stats page. All other teams will have individual stats listed except the team we have been using. Even in our blowout losses, we have had fun, albeit frustratingly funny...Comment

Just to clarify this is an "offline" association but you play against the computer co-op via xbox live?Just one other player is the limit...it would be nice if you could run with more. Re: Co-op Association - Thoughts and Observations
Yes...I have an "offline" Association that I go into and "Invite Friend" a player in to make it a co-op Association. We discuss trades and who we want to bring on and that sort of thing. It's fun but there are issues that we can't get past. We literally have to play perfect to be competitive (which is realistic) but it'd be nice if the cpu would have some off nights as well. As I said, no matter what I put the sliders at, they continuously shoot around 70%.Comment
