Yeah Rgiles, this has been a problem with EA's [maybe 2K as well] football games since...well, forever.

When you do have franchise games come down to the last few minutes, it's pretty frustrating to see the AI turn idiotic. Hopefully soon, EA will give the late game AI decision making, the attention it needs.

Not exactly. On old gen maddens the AI would milk the clock on u if it had the lead, and also kneel. they would even kneel b4 halftime if they knew they would recieve the ball nxt quarter. Also the same for 2k5. Just these Nxt Gen maddens have been having these problems. I should hav lost so many games to the CPU in my franchise when they were up in 4th with 1:50 left. and they would insist on throwing and i would get a pick 6 becuz of the bad pursuit angles. Which i hope is fixed this patch.

Just found out from MS that all new content,Patchs and title updates that have been approved go up 2am ET. Lets us hope Patch 2 makes it

I think you mean 2 AM PST...DLC, title updates, everything goes up at 5 AM EST.

Don't hold your breath for tomorrow. Most patches, etc. come out on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

I thought we were patient to wait until November for a playable Franchise in Madden 08, but this is a little ridiculous.

Waiting for this patch is almost like waiting for the release of the game again. Man, this has been the longest we've ever waited for a patch after finding out that it was in the works.

Yeah i am trying real hard to be patient but it is tough you know it has been three months. But this time not EA's fault it MS and Sony on delaying it. I just checked about 5 mins ago and nothing.

Usually after submission it takes two weeks fo it to be approved. Maybe there was some bug it it??? Further delaying the patch i hope not.

This is really testing my patience..

The late game AI would be more frustrating to me had I come back and won a game off of the AI's deficiencies. But to this point, it hasn't happened (and hopefully it doesn't). Otherwise, it would be a real pain in the rear.

I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but has anyone figured out if we have to restart our franchise or not after the patch? I saw a while back that people were arguing about it but didn't see a definitive answer as to yes or no.

I'm so tired of waiting for this thing that I'm tired of being tired. I just want to start my franchise now.
