i'm struggling with my basketball choices this year. I enjoy NCAA 10 also 2k8. Both of these games have things that I like. I want NCAA 10 to be great but if EA doesn't patch I am worried that there will be gamekillers for me.

I am a bigger college basketball fan than NBA but want a game that I can count on.

I guess I am looking for pros and cons on all the bball games. Just had to rant

Bro I am in the same boat, but I am not ranting.......love the living hell out of NCAA10 and still am playing CH2k8. I feel like I have the best of both worlds though, as both games offer a completely different experience.

Dnt understand all the hate on EA Sports, sure they have released a lot of crappy products, and i was very skeptical about that company about quality... But this is a real step ahead 09 edition, perhaps the funniest bb game they ever produced (maybe all time?), and deserve respect. I found this even better than Live 10 (got that one too), it feel less scripted and like better the court spacing. And, my opinion anyway, more more fun than the merciless CH2k8.
I see truthful passion behind this game from the developers, even without a patch i LOVE it.

To all you guys enjoying the game without any freezing issues, are you playing Dynasty games??

The freezing seems to be an issue only in Dynasty mode, or at least 99% of the freezes seem to be in Dynasty mode. All of my freezes have been in Dynasty mode. I can play Play Now games all day long and I have no issues, but when I fire up my Dynasty I get the ol' freezeroo.

So my question is has anyone been able to play more than ten Dynasty games with no freezing???

I haven't been able to. I experienced 3 freezes the other night trying to play a dynasty game.

As much as I am enjoying this game, I'm going to part with it tonight and pick up something else. I just can't tolerate or get into a game that freezes. Instead of enjoying the game, I find myself hurrying through, in an effort to beat the freeze.

I have played probably 35 plus "play now" games and I am 12 games into my dynasty.....and I have not had a single game freeze. I am using OS rosters, and I use my own sliders.

Do the people that experience the freezes have the game downloaded to their HDD or are they playing off the disc? Would that matter?

That is a great question!
I have played over 60 games and 13 dynasty games and have not had one single freeze.
I am playing the game off the HDD.

i actually think it has to do with the laser in the ps3...


i have 2k8 and with my old ps3 it was freezing....since i got a new ps3 the same disc has not froze once....

I don't have an issue with any other games freezing on my PS3 other than this one. Its a software issue, not hardware.

None of the three games that came out this year are great IMO. Live and 2K10 are very different which is a good thing, both have different strong areas. CH2K8 is still my bball game of choice though.
