Do the people that experience the freezes have the game downloaded to their HDD or are they playing off the disc? Would that matter?

Mine's installed to the hard drive, and it freezes. That worked for me with last years game, but it doesn't fix the freezing this year.

I have played probably 35 plus "play now" games and I am 12 games into my dynasty.....and I have not had a single game freeze. I am using OS rosters, and I use my own sliders.

Knock on wood....no freezes here and I bought the game used. Not downloaded to HDD. I use the OS rosters and BlueNGold's slider set.

Not only am I not seeing freezes I'm also NOT SEEING FOULS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 team fouls per game on the CPU is disgusting. I've seen over 5 but only when I'm winning at the end and they are forced to foul me 6 times in a row.

How in God's name can ANYONE make a basketball with a minimum number of fouls? Why don't we start making football games with FGs? How about racing games without pit stops? It's stupid and unfathomable that such an integral part of EVERY game is missing.

I feel much better now....thanks.

Am I the only person who can't make freethrows? Last game I shot like 4%, I made one freaking freethrow

I am getting to the foul line plenty. my last 3 games I have shot 18, 24, and 22 FT's. I am only shooting 55% on the season but, part of thats the fun of it. Have not had a freeze issue (using xbox) But, I do fear it.

Try authentics slider set, I get to the line about 12-15 times a game.

I havent bought the game yet but liked the demo alot, can someone confirm whether the post players shoots the ball everytime like some have said. That kinda worries me but ive been wanting to buy this game so bad. I really love live 10 and they're based of the same game engine so i tthink im gonna get it. If someone could just chime in on the post issue thanks.

Thye shoot it 99% of the time. Period. That is the main thing that makes the game unplayable for me. Once the CPU passes low you can forget about covering anyone else as the ball will not be passed out. If you can look past that, there is a fun game inside.

After I deleted the game from my hard drive and started playing from the disc, not only has that solved the freezing issue, it fixed the starting lineup issue, and the stuttering replay issue. This game is rockin' for me now. I just hit a shot with Stephen Gray to beat Colorado in the Maui Invitational.

I have played 6 dynasty games (2-4) and 4 play now games so far and have not had a freeze yet I keep waiting now.

My freethrow shooting is getting a little better. Last night I went 10-18 against Milwalkee in the Puerto Rico Inv. I lost 94-85

Gotta keep moving the ball and play a little better defense.

I've played dozens of games on the PS3 and no freeze (knock on wood)

As for your free throw shooting, depending on your FT slider setting, there could be a HUGE difference between shooting FT at home and on the road in a top 20 toughest places to play. I could shoot 90% at home then 48% at Duke.

What happened to the neutral courts? Every game in the NCAA tourney has the home team with their fans, band, cheerleaders, etc… That’s kind of annoying.<O</O

Actually, I just noticed another annoying thing with this game. I hit a shot to put me up by 1 point with 4 seconds left, and the CPU inbounded the ball and walked it up the court and took about a 35 foot 3 pointer and missed it, of course. This has happened twice now. I don't think the A.I. is programmed properly to understand that they need to hurry down the court in the final seconds and get a decent shot. Anyone else seen this?

The CPU not passing out of the post is still an issue for me (tried 2 games wht blue's varsity sliders, and 2 games with authentic's sliders) but I'm learning to look past it. I just like college basketball too much not to be able to play a game during the season.

I may start a dynasty soon. Either Maryland, Towson University, or Loyola (MD).

I think that helps Chris. I know this game has issues, but it is a lot of fun, and it's atmosphere does suck you in.

Another thing I've noticed is playing zone defense and really focusing on denying the CPU from feeding it down low pays off so you might try a 2-3 or 1-3-1 zone and switch it up several times during the game between man and zone. I've had great results doing this.

Finally someone else besides myself has figured this out. Deny the low post and keep switching up the D and it helps tremendously with this post issue.
