They were taken out because year after year they were in the game, but the Browns never wore them, and people whined and complained on boards like this one. I believe a common saying was that it looked like the Browns pooped their pants. When they redid the unis this year (so they could make it so you could select unis separately), they probably left out the Browns pants because they had never been worn before. And then the Browns decided to wear them finally. Although, I have no idea why they weren't included in the patch when the Seahawks jerseys were. But it isn't some conspiracy. What could they possibly have to gain by intentionally messing up uniforms?

maketing for 2010 so that we can say *hey they fixed the browns uniforms yay* they used to do the same thing with the rams for a while too.. rule 1 never take stuff out ADD stuff and then there is nothing to complain about

as for the person who said the browns suck yeah they do so what??? so if a team sucks lets not care give them pink uniforms hell they suck lets not bother having them in the NFL madden game at all then! just so ignorant things like that nark me

but if there going to put a hawks uni they wear once a year in the game. and leave out a uniform that a team wears 8 times a year in the game somthing has to be wrong.. I dont care if the browns are 16-0 or 0-16 I want to see the NFL realism in the game.. and btw the seahawsk SUCK too

The bottom line is they are uniforms...ugly unis but not as ugly as the Seahawks ones. Go check the original roster in Madden 10 and count the number of players that don't have pictures on the Raiders roster. If you have the show 09 put that game in and look at all the players that were free agents in 08... they all have updated pictures for 09 with their new teams! I think it really comes down to EA being EA.

It seems like robo-QB is back. CPU QB plays a lot better, killing you with short passes, than pre-patch.

hey guys i was away for a few days including the day the patch dropped so i apologize if these questions were already asked already.

1. i assume the flat coverage is better? what about zones in general?
2. has anyone been able to fix the high sim stat rushing numbers and YPC?
3. has the all out blitz by the CPU been controlled or do you still need to control all 32 teams in your franchise?

Has anyone noticed that after the 2nd patch that there is less "big plays"? What i mean by that is before the patch when I used C.Johnson (RB Titans) in my franchise he would break about 1 or maybe 2 big plays a game. Sometimes a WR would too. Since the patch I have noticed that the gameplay is a bit slower and when I spin they seen less crisp or fluid. NO big plays in 3 games since patch. Anyone else notice this? Or is it just me?

According to EA's lead artist, Mr. Art Modell Jr., there is no conspiracy against the Browns.

I appreciate the effort from the EA guys, but I'm just not feeling this patch. I think I finally came to the conclusion that this game is so incredibly flawed from its core. It just never seems to play correctly. I honestly think this is it for me with Madden. I just don't think they can ever improve this game until they scrap the game engine and start new.

I've read through many pages but have not seen this asked. Does the computer blitz almost every play still? And if so, is it as easy to exploit open parts of the field because of the blitzing?

Different teams blitz more than others. its not an auto td now because of how they recover.

Do you really think that by putting the browns pants in next year, and not this year, it's going to help them sell more copies of the game? No. It is not intentional. The Browns pants should absolutely have been included. But them not being in there is not an intentional ploy to try and trick Browns fans into buying next year's game.

By the way, I bet the majority would notice the Seahawks jerseys being in more than they would notice the Browns pants being in. They get more exposure than the Browns, and those Green jerseys are known by most football fans more than brown pants for the Browns.

I didn't see anyone mention the clock yet.

The clock stops on incomp passes and runs out of bounds in the 3rd & 4th qtr now.

Also I was playing w/ the Redskins and they showed those cool facts about the how they started as the Braves, instead of the old Bears/Bengals stuff.
