I think USF is right, it's not that you outgrow it, it's just that you can't do it for 8 hours a day anymore, like my 15 year old nephew does currently. I've also been going through a sort of gaming renaissance myself...for a long time, I wouldn't touch anything but a sports game. Now I find myself playing shooters/sandbox games almost exclusively. I just picked up the original Assassin's Creed and I'm loving it.
