    3. The lack of any AI at the end of games by the cpu.
    4. Every game is the same for me in my dynasty. I always fall behind early and have to make a run in the 2nd half. This happens every game! EVERY game the cpu comes out on fire.
This is the first time I have every quoted myself on this board (lol) but I just had too respond myself.
So I decided to switch back to 2k8 I was done with this game for good.
Well after downloading the newest rosters for 2k8 (no one still has a complete set) and deciding to be Purdue in a new dynasty. I put in Purdue's real schedule as close as it would let me and I was off to play.
I played two games and I am done! I dont know what it is but I just cant play 2k8 anymore.
It is like I am playing an old playstation 2 game. I cant really put my finger on it but NCAA 10 is just far better to me. The presentation, the correct schedules, the full rosters done, even the new updates shoes reel me back to this game. The gameplay even tho it bugs me at times (late game AI) is just so much more fun 99% of the time. Like I said I really wanted to ditch this game and go back to 2k8 because of the lack of 3 point shooting in some games. But at the end of the day this game is just so much more fun to play. It feels like I am playing and watching a college bball game plain and simple.

I had to laugh at this. Good stuff. Maybe editing ratings can at least the fix 3 point attempts issue for you. I know the frustration of having a great game and just a few things annoying you.

I don't have this game but I like reading the impressions. I might pick it up cheap for tourney time. I just don't play many basketball games anymore.

While I will disagree with you with the fact that NCAA 10 is far better than CH2k8....I definitely feel your pain. CH2k8 is still fun to me, but I just like the gameplay and especially the player movement in NCAA 10 so much more. But as of now, CH2k8 is all I'm left with. Thank God for an incredibly deep legacy mode in CH2k8. I will just have to get the NCAA 10 gameplay out of my system. But yeah, I definitely feel your pain.

I can understand u jake, there's no way i can back to CH2k8 after Ncaa 10, even with freezes (im not experiencing one yet), is too much more enjoyable game. Im pretty sure dev team after fixing Live would take care at this game aswell, but they need our support.

Haha! I did the same thing! I had a dynasty freeze(first one) in NCAA 10 and popped in 2K8. Great game, more depth and more realistic, but IMO it's just not as much fun and like most 2k games I can't stand the way the players move.

I'm the opposite. I can't stand the way EA players move. I really want to get this game but with some of the latest comments I just can't justify it.

EA STILL can not get my teams uniforms correct. I have emailed them every year since its been March Madness. San Diego State wears BLACK on the road and white at home. Why does EA always give us a Red Jersey??? No alternate either...atleast make that a black one. The uniform front is wrong, our uni's have San Diego State on it never Aztecs. I can maybe see that being wrong on this game but please atleast get the COLOR of our jerseys correct, its not that hard.

I agree. It has replaced March madness 04 for me as my favorite college bball game not named coach k.

That's what happened to me last year. I love College Hoops to death, played 500+ games on 15 min quarters or so. Even after playing NCAA Bball 09, I couldn't get into Ch2k8.

Finally, I received my copy of NCAA Bball 10. Played two games with authentics sliders and I'm having a blast. So it is a definite good bye to Ch2k8 for me.

After going back and forth whether to sell NCAA 10 or not, I had to give it one more shot. I paid $60 for this game and I owed it to myself as a college bball junkie and my wallet<O</O

1st thing I did was take the game for what it is. I've read all the posts and even some of my own. I threw them out the window. I was going into this with a clear head. <O</O
                        <O</O

IMO, so many times we get wrapped up with the boards and wait for the first thing to go wrong. Lack of CPU 3 point shooting and kicking in out when they get the ball in the post. So, I figured I would ignore the post and like I said, take it for what it is.<O</O
                        <O</O

What I found out was, this is one pretty damn fun bball game. Being a huge NCAA bball fan, I found this game feels like college ball. More turnovers, zone D's, motion O's, full court press, etc... I could go on but, it just feels like NCAA ball. <O

I know it doesn't do some things and after playing 5 games I've found that this is what I will be playing this fall and winter and depending on how I feel, I'll be playing this for a while. Coming from 2k10 to playing this, I can say I don't have the controls down but, I know I'll be ok soon. <O
                        <O
The reason I even wanted to post this is because I realized that I needed to do one thing. Stop reading, posting and start playing. Like I said before, we as an OS community get so wrapped up in what we read and are so ready to stop playing because we are looking for what we've read. I'm guilty like so many here. I know there will be some people that just can't get into it and that's fine. IMO, this game is not for everyone. If you can get past what it doesn't do and start taking it for what it does, you'll find that this is college bball and it's done really well.

                            Great post Jerz

I am going to get a copy of this game sooner or later...and my expectations will simply be "fun running the different offenses + atmosphere". Just that.

I am really enjoying 2K10 for hard core sim type gaming, but I really want a College game go with it for the different offenses / defenses and feel that you mentioned. I really dislike a lot of things about NBA Live, but I don't expect player likeness and tendencies etc to be right in a college game...in the NBA games I do expect authentic stuff.

I am going to run a dynasty with a small school and try and implement a triangle offense and just go with that. I really liked College Hoops...but the bigger courts / much better spacing in games like NCAA 09, LIVE and 2K10 are so good that I just can't play CHoops2K8 anymore on those tiny courts with all the players bunched up so much. Great post

We do have high expectations on OS. We really want our games to play well in ALL areas. A few flaws in crucial areas tends to let the air out of the balloon. I have no problem with people criticizing those areas or getting rid of the game if it bothers them that much. I do the same thing. But being able to see past those errors and enjoy the game for what it is is also a great thing. Sometimes I can do that and sometimes I can't. I think people blame OS too much for that. It's on you if you choose to look past those errors or not.
