    Madden NFL 10: Offense Be-Ware

Demarcus Ware has become one of the most dominant pass rushers in the league, and the Dallas Cowboy defense is finding more and more ways to utilize his great ability.

One of the more successful ways has been to use him as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 set, and have a blitz designed to overload one side. This allows D Ware to get free off the edge, or have a one on one matchup with either the tackle or the running back -- which the Cowboys will take every time.

Having a pass rusher such as Ware allows the rest of the secondary to be able to jump routes more consistently, because they know the opposing quarterback only has a short time with the ball.

I like the idea behind this. But, IRL, westbrook blocks way better than that. He would have squared up and popped him.

If Westbrook is in position, yes. In the video BW lets him run right past, like he was chipping (which you don't do on inside blocks)

You're telling me youve never seen a big time LB get stuffed by a smaller RB?

Do you watch the NFL on Sunday? Ware is better than James Harrison, and Harrison is unstoppable.

Westbrook is not a good blocker. However that doesnt excuse the LG not blocking inside out to cover the A gap...Also the QB did not drop back or make a hot read to the slot receiver. This would not happen to my offense or any competent offensive coordinator.

Nobodys unstoppable on defense.Last time I checked Brandon Jacobs had a field day against Dallas. Also The Vaunted Steelers have had their problems on defense as well,so no,no player even in Madden is unstoppable.

Wait? Really? There aren't many RB's in general in the NFL that aren't' good blockers. If they aren't, they won't be on the team very long. Half of the job is to block for the passer, when they aren't actually carrying the ball. Westbrook has been an ********* blocker during his career.

I hate Westbrook, but he is a good blocker as far as RBs go. hate him cuz he wears green!!!!

The RBs in Madden have never blocked as well as they should, I used to watch replays over and over of my FB getting reverse pancaked by DBs that he outweighed by 60lbs and M10 isn't much better, but the pass rush in M10 sucks overall, so it negates how bad the RBs are at blocking in the game. The inside-out thing really needs addressed because even if you pinch the Oline it doesn't seem to work that way.

Ware is overrated, yes he's a good pass rusher and play maker. But if you run right at him he will be over aggressive and not hold his gap. As an overall player he is way overrated, I'll give in and say that he is one of the best pass rushers in the league. Players, no.

Westbrook had one of the lowest pass blocking ratings in the game. Check the stats.

Because EA's ratings are undeniably accurate across all players?
