DB, do you play with PS3? If not, what changes do you anticipate needing to make in lieu of the 2nd patch?

I'm playing a game right now with your sliders and things seem good, but just wanted to ask. Kick returns are pretty easy.

I didn't play Madden a ton as I was waiting for the patch so it's hard for me to tell a difference right now.

360 here, so can't do anything until I get the patch myself..

Anyone using PS3 can give me a hand, by letting me know how things have changed, and in which areas.

I'm still having fun with these even after the patch. I haven't really seen anything that jumps out at me, needing to be tweaked.

DB, thanks alot for all of your efforts in getting a very good set of sliders for the madden community to use. I know we all appreciate it.
If I were you, I would send a link to this discussion to EA Sports and see if you can some how work out a paid position as a Madden tester. You have obviously done a very good job and could probably solve some of their problem with disgruntled gamers.
BTW, EA wishes they could create a forum like this on their site. Instead they have a bunch of ignorant people that type insults and mask foul language and dont really contribute at all.

Sorry guys, I still haven't had time to dload and research the patch yet. I hate saying I'll do something, then not do it

Just had a briefish browse through the other slider sets, and folks I trust (like Steelers99 for example) don't seem to think much has really changed to effect sliders.

So to anyone still using my sliders (with patch#2), whats your views?

I'll get around to dloading the patch soon as I can, but I'm of the impression (from others) that not that much needs tweaking.

I would tend to agree with that thought. The sliders I've been using(Bill Harris's) have stated that the D is much better after patch #2. The coverage to the flats are better, better coverages of WR's and pursuit angles are better.

I doubt if it needs major tweaking, but I'm sure small tweaking will work.

Just played a game using these as the Bears vs the Lions....here are the main stats

Cutler-Rating 158.3 21 for 26 443 YDS 5 TD

Stafford-Rating 147 25 for 35 398 YDS 4 TD (one clearly wasn't a TD but the game wouldn't allow me to challenge)

Forte 26 for 146 YDS 3 TD and Jones 5 for 45 and Cutler 1 for 5 YDS

Smith 25 for 89 YDS and Stafford 1 for 13 YDS

Leading receivers

Bears
Olsen 7 for 197 YDS 2 TD
Hester 4 for 94 YDS 1 TD

Lions
Williams 7 for 64 YDS 1 TD
C. Johnson 5 for 94 YDS 0 TD

Defensive leaders

Urlacher 11 TAK 2 ASST 2 TFL
Bullocks 5 TAK

Sims 9 TAK 1 ASST 1 TFL
Foote 6 TAK 2 ASST 2 TFL

The Bears had one sack and the Lions had four. No INTs all game although several hit me in the hands. No dropped passes either.

There were a total of 61 plays for the Bears with 18 first downs and 61 plays for the Lions with 16 first downs. I had a rushing fumble with Forte as well.

All in all it was one of the better experiences I've had playing the game. I appreciate you working so diligently to prepare them. At the beginning I felt like I would kill the Lions even worse but I had a couple of missed user tackles and I ran the ball more than normal because I was eating them up through the air.

Ok so I am VERY new to this sliders stuff. I really want to use these as I have seen many great comments about them. My issue is that I am having trouble inputting them into my game. I know how to get to the right part in the options menu in my ps3 but the thing is after I set it to custom I am noticing that the highest I can go is 20 on the slider and yet there are some values from this set that are higher. Can someone please explain how to input these please. Thanks in advance.
