Was that supposed to be in the patch? If so, I'm definitely not seeing it. I watched a replay last night when I was chasing down a ball with my player to see what the other guy (CPU) player on my team was doing. The ball carrier was running at a diagonal towards the sideline, and the defender was coming from the top left chasing him. He went straight down, the cut to the right, then straight down, cut to the right, then straight down, and... he's out of position by about 3 yards and now he's behind me! Instead of making the tackle, or taking the running lane away and allowing me to make it, he wasn't even part of the play. Anyhow, we could have a long discussion on the topic of pursuit angles and taking away the running lane (up top should take away running lane, when behind direct pursuit), I just didn't realize it was part of the patch.
