The Friars show that they are for real, going on the road to Notre Dame and pulling out a huge 92-77 win. The game was closer than the score indicates, and Providence really pulled away in the last 7 minutes.

Peterson had 32 points and 13 rebounds for the Friars, while Curry chipped in with 20.

Harangody had 48 points and 14 rebounds in the loss.

The Friars (11-1, 1-0) stay on the road to take on St. Johns (6-4, 0-0) on 1/3.
