Can't you cancel the order before it ships?

Awesome! I just placed the pre order with the two day shipping and like you will change it to release day, awesome savings. Thanks Amazon for picking up the tab!

          Wow, what a steal!

Unfortunately I'm not pre-ordering, because I don't like to pay shipping and I want to find my store and get it early... but if this price holds true, this is a no doubt purchase for me. Being on the fence would no longer be a question whatsoever, and that 2K10 copy just may have to sit back on the bench for good.

Honestly, this was the only chance T2 had getting 2K10 to sell well at all... that is, setting the price at $39.99 while The Show would be at $59.99 (this was a theory and a suggestion I conjectured in a thread a couple of weeks ago), but now I think they have no choice but to lower the price. This will please 360 fans, but the PS3 will be crowning The Show this year if true.

Please, please let it be true!

            Blzer, Amazon has free shipping.

For those asking about being able to cancel before it ships. Yes you can. I have two pre-ordered right now. But when (if) they announce a collector's, I will cancel these and get them.

Also, they do not charge your CC, until the game ships. So you have plenty of time to decide to cancel your pre-order.

So if you want security to take advantage of a great price (that is probably an error), then jump on it. Or we can be lucky, and Sony is doing a new pricing scheme for select first party games. We will know soon enough.

              Oh yeah! Doi!

But still, I'm not an online shopper anyway (mommy doesn't like me racking up credit on video games) and I still want to go for that early release, anyway. But at the expense of the game possibly not being $40 in the end? As of now, it's a risk I'm willing to take.

I thought I might just be able to continue playing 09 this year as normally I don't like to by the same sports game back to back years, but at this price I can't go wrong. So what if this is now 3 years in a row. MLB is worth it!

I generally feel the same way about most collector's editions, but for this game I would seriously consider it. Of course it would completely depend on what extras would be included exactly.

We do not know. We don't even know if there will be one. There was a poll not too long ago, and the winning selection that the community voted was and actual game used MLB baseball.

So I guess we have to wait for more info to come out, if there even is a collector's edition.

Wow, that is CHEAP. Pre-order, here I come. Gotta love Amazon...

Edit: Oh Snap! I have $20 credit from pre-ordering MW2 so I'm only paying $19.99! Woop!

Yeah, it is sending you to the PSP version. Even if you search and select PS3, it sends yo to the PSP version.

Lets hope they honor it for those who have pre-ordered. By their terms they should. But who knows in this day and age.

Doubt it cause on the receipt I received it doesnt say anything about the PS3 version, just a link to the PSP site... Oh well, it was too good to be true.
