Re: why guards get tired faster than big men???
Good question. But this depends on your playstyle, especially the players that you control the most. For me, I rarely ever use turbo w/ my big men, typically only with my perimiter players. That alone will put a dent into fatuigue.STRATEGYHUSTLERESULTSComment

Re: why guards get tired faster than big men???
Guards are shorter, so they can't have the amount of energy a big man has. They also need to take more steps due to their shorter legs...
But seriously, I think it also depends on the Isomotion usage. Since guards usually use more crossovers ans stuff, I believe it takes some energy. My Specs:

CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB

Re: why guards get tired faster than big men???
I have the opposite problem. My big men get tired before my smaller players. In fact some of them get fatigued too much to play starter's minutes even as a top flight player.Comment

Re: why guards get tired faster than big men???
i've had big men and wings get tired on me. everytime i switch over to them, i notice their stamina bars are recovering from using turbo. i'm guessing CPU uses your teammates' turbo liberally, might have to do with offensive tempo in coach profile?Comment

One other thing to keep in mind is that when you hold L2 for defense, that wears down your stamina almost as fast as sprinting and you tend to do this more when defending the perimeter (with guards and SF), so this drains your stamina faster. Instead you should use more right stick to bodies up your check and not use the L2 as much. In fact, if you just play better POSITION defense (defend with your feet, not with your hands) then you don't have to chase your man around (using R2).Jackmouve | PSN | [email protected]Comment

Re: why guards get tired faster than big men???
Very true, I have the defensive assist set to 0 so I can't use the "lock on" D and I do just fine staying in good position. In fact, I can almost always keep the point guard in the backcourt with my D long enough for him to throw a desperation pass to get it past halfcourt. As long as you get close playing d, you trigger animations that help you stay in front of your man.One other thing to keep in mind is that when you hold L2 for defense, that wears down your stamina almost as fast as sprinting and you tend to do this more when defending the perimeter (with guards and SF), so this drains your stamina faster. icic, maybe using that assistance when game is on the line is a smarter choice =/One other thing to keep in mind is that when you hold L2 for defense, that wears down your stamina almost as fast as sprinting and you tend to do this more when defending the perimeter (with guards and SF), so this drains your stamina faster. Re: why guards get tired faster than big men???
I most of my players enegry on defense. I also use every single one of my timeouts effective. I run uptempo sim game. (In other words I shoot a lot of jumpshots on the break...instead of layups. I feel its fair instead of layup/dunk after layup/dunk... Know what I mean?) But I also sub a lot.Last edited by jeebs9; 12-22-2009, 09:52 AM.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: why guards get tired faster than big men???
you're probably running them a lot more then your big men, maybe you should slow down the tempoComment
