It's wireless with the charge cord that goes into the controller port in the 360. I have no clue why this works but it does. When my controller is not connected to that cord, the USER1 pops up. It's weird I know, but if I have it plugged in (and the green light is showing) on my cord connected to my controller, it keeps my Gamertag up in the lower right hand corner.
Like I said, it's weird but with it plugged into my 360 all is well. I don't have to do this with NCAA which is strange.
