Rackers had 3 50+ yard FG's. Including a 53 yarder to send it in to OT when my Offense was gassed from the no huddle.

GG Box, these matches are turning Legendary.
GG, I am shaking after this one. What a way to lose. I have played a hell of a lot of video football in my life and yes, that was one of the most intense games I have ever been apart.

The Cardinals D is quick and his defensive line kicked the living crap out of my O-Line all day. Gore got injuried on his 3rd carry of the game an didn't return. Palmer got shaken up a bit. The Cardinals came out and punched me in the mouth. My offense stuggled early as the blitz was coming heavy and getting home. After Doc torched my secondary on the first possession for a touchdown, my young tight end Walker fumbles the ball over to Arizona. He had a similar fumble last season against Tennessee that cost my in that game. To my suprise Rackers nails a 58 yard 3 pointer. (Now I am getting a kicker with a strong leg for sure).

After finding my self down 17-3 midway in the second I finally adjust to the pressure and finding open guys that couldn't catch the ball. The last 3 minutes they finally get the jitters out and start to catch the ball and make plays. On defense I start generating turnovers because of last second changes that effected the opponets reads. The confusion results in 3 interceptions. The fourth quarter was epic. There were 3 lead changes in the final stanza and Rackers hit another from 50 plus to send the game into overtime. Pappy sends me a message two plays before the game tying field goal.

Overtime I get the toss. I felt good picked up a first down and after moving the sticks decided to run which didn't work all game. I got stuffed two a 2nd and 14 that put my in a huge hole. On third and long I throw out a deep pass play to get hit at the last moment and was ready to punt in my mind but to my dissatifaction I see Dockett getting up on two knees catch the ball practically laying down. His kicker has a boot so I blitz hard and almost got one home but Warner got rid of it just in time. I got the highlight saved of the Dockett catch if I can figure out how to upload it.

I win the turnover battle 3-2 and really didn't make any huge mistakes in the game. Rackers gold foot finished me. Doc played a great game once again. This is getting to be a hot rivalry.

Hats off Doc. Another great game. Tough to swallow that one. Another testiment to the level of competition in this league. Next up another tough match against the superbowl runner up. There is never a break in ACQB.

Played an exciting game vs the Colts. Peyton Manning lead a great scoring drive to start the game off. Then the Colts forced the Chiefs to punt on the next drive. That's when the Chiefs D stepped up and forced a few fumbles and got a few ints. The big int was Patrick Surtains pick 6 to give the Chiefs the lead.

Up 14 near the end of the 3rd quarter almost in field goal range the Chiefs blew a wide open pass to Dwayne Bowe(I hit the wrong button trying to manually catch it) The Colts got the ball then went 3 and out. On the very next play they made KC) Ronnie Brown fumble and got the ball in the redzone. Manning made quick work of that turnover and put 6 points on the board with a sweet pass to wr Collie. Then it was a series of 3 and outs for both teams.

With 4 mins left the Chiefs got the ball. It was Ronnie Brown time and they pounded the rock and the time on the clock. With 2 mins left in the redzone and with the Colts still possesing 2 time outs the Chiefs to a shot to the endzone. Steve Breaston didn't come down with the ball but the Colts SS did. This gave Indy one last chance to tie the game up. They made it all the way down to the Chiefs 30 yard line. But their hail mary attempts were unsuccesful. Chiefs make it to 3-1 in spite of a few blown plays and poor coaching.

      Stars of the game

      MLB Anontio Pierce 2 int's
CB Patrick Surtain 1 int for a td (returned over 40 yds)
QB Peyton Manning 400 plus yds 3 td's 3 ints

Hats off to CatchCatch he shredded my secondary.

Couple close games already in week 4. The Chiefs squeak by the Colts, and the Cards eek one out against the Niners.

There are lots of close games in this league--a testament to the quality of the competition.

I can't wait to get into this NFC West rivalry action, gents!

          It should be fun Trojan.

Just made some changes to my DL, putting Dockett in at DT and moving Burgess to RE and Calius to LE. I felt like I could get no Pressure when just rushing 4, leading to my Secondary getting shredded in the second half against Box.

If I can get my Defense going like Season 1 before restart and stop turning over the ball with my Boy Warner, I will feel pretty good.

Indeed. I'm hoping to work toward respectability this season. AZ, SF, and SEA all have some nice pieces and smart, competitive owners. We should have some great matches.

NYJ, please wait on MIA for this game. He should be in tonight, but I don't show MIA as filled on the OF website. It may have a delay . . .

            Happy holidays to all!

Your pass rush was pretty tenacious in the first half. I had to start passing out of heavy sets to get time to get the ball downfield. Also I learned my lesson last season to never throw at DRC or Rolle. I think I threw at Rolle maybe once. Dockett is a beast, you have a nasty front seven. It was a real chess match. We were both moving the sticks pretty well but it felt like a fight for every yard. I have a feeling there is going to be some epic games in this division.

Looks like another strong year for the NFC. We got the Champs and we brought the Commish over from the dark side.

Yeah I've wanted spectator mode since '05. It'd crank up the ACQB addiction to another level I think. Imagine scouting your future opponents during their games... that'd be awesome.

Nice to see some gaming on Christmas Eve, lol. This is a dedicated league!

I have a technique question for those more knowledgeable than me. When you have an opponent that comes out in 4 WR 1 TE and 1 HB and you come out in, say a dime 2 man, what can you do to make sure the DB you have guarding that HB is on the same side of the formation? I often see a slot DB on the wrong side of the formation guarding that guy, which makes for a very easy completion to the flats. Is there a pre-play or matchups thing you can do for that?
