Notre Dame Not Impressed With Last Season, Bring in New Coach
South Bend Ind, Today Notre Dame Athletic Director Jack Swarbrick announced that they would, quote "be taking there basketball program to a different style of coaching." Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey was shockingly replaced today by a rather familiar figure, Digger Phelps. "It is great to be back on campus" Phelps said, "I loved my job here and am excited to pick up where I left off years ago. I plan to turn this ball team into a top of the nation team and will not except losing. This university is starting to become more nationally recognized for basketball, as well as football. We can not have these kinds of seasons if we want to stay at the pinnacle of college basketball." When asked about the stunning news Luke Harangody said, "The coach is the coach, I just do what he tells me. I will miss coach Brey but am pretty excited to learn more about basketball from coach Phelps." Notre Dame is preparing to start their season shortly, and are hoping the new coach brings more wins to the team.
