FYI: New Set of Rosters Posted to Hold You Over!

Jim and I spent the last couple of days tweaking one of my custom roster sets to be as accurate as possible including all the most recent roster moves as well as just about every substantial prospect. Its in the roster vault under KSIGJIM.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

This should hold us all over while waiting for the EOS set from Knight and friends.'

    Cheers and Happy New Year!

This really isn't a long term kind of roster. I updated the 25 man rosters through 1/1/09 using the CBS depth charts. No editing of players were done except to edit positions so that the projected starters (if the season started today with many players still FA) appeared on each teams roster.

Don't really think it's for you franchise types as I wasn't able to get all the FAs on the FA list. Took me two days just to do the moves and tweak positions so that guys who would start are starting.

It's basically good until The Show releases in March. You'll be able to update all the teams as moves are made (with FAs) IF you use ROSTER CONTROL ON.

Its my custom set. It is pretty much dialed in. If you find any errors let me know, but I have been working on this continually since the game came out.

You have to go on Sports Connect through the game.

Well as a scout I get to see a lot of these top prospects before they are drafted so I take a lot of pride into my development of functional prospects. It's also pretty hard to rate a players potential with the given amount of A, B, C and D players. My goal is to have the most accurate players for a realistic feel to your franchise mode. My formula is pretty simple, and get this, three of my players on the Harrisburg Senators had almost identical stats to their actual 2009 season stats. My method seems to be accurate.

                        Thanks for the praise.

Speaking about prospects if your 25 man rosters is current. Do u have prospect 1b brett pill for the giants minor league system.

I dont think I added Brett, but I did see him at CSUF several times and his younger brother is a pitching prospect at CSUF too. He isnt considered a top 10 prospect though. You should take Villalona and replace Pill with him as I dont think Villalona will be playing ball anytime soon.

Thanks for sharing GREAT JOB and as I told Jim I did update fine tune these a bit if you want the changes earlier today that I will be updating daily till mlb 10 release trying to keep it reflecting the upcomming 2010 season .
Man you guys saved me 16 hours of work THANKS !.
It was Little Stuff each team like new positions EX: Chi Sox OF Pierre LF , Quinten RF , Rios CF , Ichiro batting 1st not 3rd Abreu 2nd not 1st ect as I dont really use lineup logic unless perfect so I do retweak a bit and fix it after it changes thru logic.
And please none of this is a knock im just a pefectionist lol
, Bradley SEA LF not DH Griffey DH not LF and a few lineup logic changes Gardner playing LF and Johnson playing DH not playing LF by making Gards main pos LF .
Once again thanks to you and Jim
