This game is infuriating. Why can't I set the CPU defense and tempo in dynasty mode with another controller?

I swear EA just loves to piss off the consumer by imposing stupid limitations.

I am just beyond angry at this game because it doesn't work like it should.

This game would be great if I could get the CPU to play different defenses besides 1/4 man to man every game.....so frustrating.
