    They did.

Week before Folk was fired him and Bueler had competitions in practice, Buehler sucked hard.

I knew about the kicking competition in practice. I was referring to giving him a chance in game situations. Heck, it doesn't get much worse than the way Folk was kicking. Especially after the way Folk had proven to be a solid kicker in previous seasons.

It's really hard to understand how Folk went bad so fast. It started in the 2nd half of 2008 & then carried over to 2009.

I just wonder what we'll do about a long term kicker? Draft one like we did with Folk a few years ago. I just don't believe Shuisam is our long term guy. I hope he can prove me wrong though.

Now I am in fact a crazy UVa homer and I was at a bar when I was watching the game so I may have heard incorrectly, but did Joe Buck and Troy Aikman say during the game that Kevin Ogletree was pushing Roy Williams for playing time (after Ogletree caught the ~10 yard out for his lone catch of the day)?

KO has done well enough in limited opportunities and I really want him to succeed, sure, but if that statement I thought I heard by Buck and Aikman is in fact true than SMH at that Roy Williams trade.

Jesus. I mean, good for KO, but Roy Williams is making Jerry Jones look more like a fool with each passing day.

Any chance we cut him in the offseason, even if the salary cap stays? He's approaching dead weight status.

Actually, that's not correct. What they did say was that Ogletree could be just as effective as Roy Williams right now. They didn't say Ogletree was "pushing" Williams at that WR spot. I mean you have Crayton that would step in & play in place of Roy Williams before Ogletree would.

Yeah, Crayton is the slot WR but if Williams was to be replaced at the starting WR spot it would be Crayton first. Ogletree isn't quite ready for that type role yet. I do believe though that Ogletree has made more plays in his little time than Williams has all year long.

The Williams trade is turning out to be a joke. I mean he can't get open. He can't catch the ball when he gets open. What a waste for given up draft picks. Witten nearly outrun Williams last week on that long run against the Skins. He's slow & has bad hands. He isn't a #1 WR on any team & should be our #3 right now.

With his poor performance since coming to Dallas we are hurting if we wanted to get rid of him. We coudn't get jack squat in return for him. Heck, nobody would want him with his sorry play. We can't just release him either because we still have to pay him no matter what if we was to go that route.

                Re: Dallas Cowboys War Room

We get them again this coming Saturday. Roy Williams should be on the practice squad because he's a total non-factor for us. I feel the game will be totally different come Saturday. We should have the confidence but they'll want revenge after losing to us twice this season.

It's hard to beat a team 3 times in the same season especially one of your divisional rivalries. We have nothing to show if we lose this Saturday except a divisional title. It's gonna be interesting!

You call 12-19 times a lot in all the years of pro football? You know just like I do that beating a team 3 times in the same season from your own division is hard. Don't feed me this nonsense stuff.

Dallas may have looked like the better team yesterday but you know we could turn around & get our butts kicked this coming Saturday night. It's the NFL dude! I've been around following pro football for nearly 35 years & Philly beating us would be far from an upset.

Au contraire, Dallas has attempted the feat three times and has always been a part of the losing seven.

History isn't what is going to win or lose this game on Saturday, anyhow.

Yeah! What I was trying to tell him too. Beating a team 3 times in the same season in the NFL is a "hard" feat. Especially when it's a team in your division.

So our reasonably successful season is now over, albeit a bit sooner than I would have liked.

Where to from here? What's our free agent and salary cap situation? Who should we draft?

Dallas definitely needs to go either OT, NT (where Ratliff could move back to End) or SS.

Dallas should have about 10 million to spend this summer.
