EA is competing against themselves, they want to improve on what they did the year before. Just as any company w/ or w/o competition does. Peoples jobs are on the line if they don't improve.
EA is going to advertise Madden, even if they are the only Nfl Licensed game, they always have.
And as CountryBoy has pointed out above, they have seen a decline in sales since they got the nfl license.
I don't think EA wants to lay employees off anymore then they already have.

I won't buy the next Madden unless its improved on its current features, or added some better ones. I wouldn't of bought M10 w/o them advertising it like they did.

So now, back on topic.
When will info start to filter out about M11?
I would think around or after the superbowl.
