Also curious if any changes were made to running a franchise,(transportation, player morale, front office operations, etc.)? Will the new training modes for fielding, hitting, and pitching be available within franchise mode? The Signature of New YorkComment

About the same time as last year. Also I forgot to add this along with the new RTTS Catcher mode the entire catcher logic for all game modes was torn out of the game and re-written from scratch.Comment

Russell, is this for games in real life, or does this apply to games happening in my franchise? Didn't seem clear to me.Comment

What about retractable roofs? Do we get an option of open or closed? Also I am glad to see progressive commentary has made it in.Last edited by ShowTyme15; 01-05-2010, 01:14 AM.Comment

I can't wait for MLB 10 The Show. I've allways liked Sony's MLB game and it's the only baseball videogame I will be buying this year because I have been so dissapointed with 2K Sports MLB games. Sony makes the best MLB videogame bar none. And Sony made a good choice chosing Joe Mauer as the cover boy.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show Fact Sheet
I'd like to know if the hot/cold zone issue has been fixed. Here is the problem...
Below is an image of Dye's hot zone chart...
Dye-Zones.jpg
And here is where my next pitch ended up, outside for a ball...
Dye-Pitch-Location1.jpg
And the pitcher analysis shows the appropriate location of the pitch (if you are pitching with the catcher view enabled)...
Dye-Catcher-View.jpg
Now I will switch the camera view to pitcher...
Dye-Pitcher-View1.jpg
Note the chart stays the same but the pitch location flips because of the view change. From this view it deceives one into thinking that throwing high & inside or low & inside would be a cold zone. However, in reality they are hot zones (because the chart didn't flip, only the pitch location did)...

Will this be issue be fixed in 10? If the ball location display is flipped the zone chart should also flip. Ideally I'd like to see the "real" hot/cold zone charts that are displayed in player cards (from the edit player screen.) Those charts show varying colors and true strengths for each zone which would be better to show in the pitcher analysis screen.Comment
