The way I handle this is that if the game is underway by the sim deadline, I let it roll. I'm not out to be fascist.

I hate CPU games because of the statistical anomalies they create. Look at the two we've had thus far.

You guys sound like you'll be able to play tonight, so just do that. The holiday work and travel schedule was crazy for many of us. I know we all want to play that next game, and we will definitely advance tonight . . . as soon as we find out who has more grit--CLE or KC .

Thank you so much Trojan. I just like playing, glad this won't be simmed or a cpu game.


Spark we need to play a little earlier so the game will be under way before the deadline. 8:30 pm est would be 30 minutes to late.

I enjoyed Casey's highlights and decided to share another.

Done playing the Titan in randoms

This dude was a level 17..and was playing straight until he found himself in a game with little ol' me.

Out came the circus tent, no huddle goalline offense, instant scrambles, onside kickoffs, going for 2 (and failing) when an extra point would have tied the game.

Truth, justice, and the sim way, won out in the end

Guess we have to have developers in our league to get respect.

It's so true. I'm pink and lilac with rage about that as well.

I really want us to make it through the entire cycle of the OF and maintain our numbers so that I can make a strong case for a subforum for next year.

This year, I would like to push for this as well but think we should discuss the best way. Since I'm in the middle of a global cap sheet audit, I would like to be a part of the push but not necessarily at its head if I can avoid it.

Do you all think emails to Millenium are good? And what sorts of arguments are most compelling to that audience, do you think?

Kia, have kids been blocking your FG's more lately? These scrubs have been sprinting to the line with their farthest back defender, taking on a blocker which lets the MLB in. They then switch to MLB and jump to stuff the FG. I've had like 3 blocked in the last 10 games. That reminded me of APF! I think it's time to start practicing FG fake pass....

If you have a fast linebacker you can block it every time. I've seen guys do this with Willis alot. This has been in there since before the first patch and I'm surprised it hasn't caught the fire it has until now.

You mean next Wed the 13th right? If so it is going to depend when I get out of class. It is the first night so I'm probably not going to hold them long.

You're teaching a night class this term? Those are brutal! I had all afternoon and evening classes last semester and I was so over it by the time my final class that I stayed pissed at them the whole time, lol.

Yeah it will be a night class I also have an afternoon class. Intro to Ethics and Sociology of Sport. I can't wait to teach Sociology of Sport. That's going to be fun.

Kia, you have the user safety thing DOWN. When I was watching the clip, the vid froze as the pass was in the air, and I was like, "there is no one even near the WR and it looks like a good throw." Then Leonard does the Madden schimmee, and wow!, that one would have had me pulling my hair out.
