Great game Grunt. What a defensive game. Then I lost Trent Edwards on first drive on a harmless incomplete throw for 6 weeks with a dislocated ankle.

We both struggled to pass or run. Both of us stuck with the run and continued to try and grind out drives. My TE Nelson is my main man and I tried feeding him the ball as much as possible. I knew with me going to my back up QB, there was no chance in hell at me going deep so I had to settle for the run, run, short throw. All game long. It worked for the most part and I honestly thought I was going to pull it out. But my secondary screwed me on two huge plays. Perfect call, guy in PERFECT position and BOOOMM, horrible animation takes my guy completely out the play and lets you run free no one behind. Only thing that saved me is not enough speed to take it to the house. But set you up perfect for a short chip for the win in OT.

Still can't believe I lost that one. Man my luck with games has been horrible lately. I can't buy a lucky break lol. Great game bro, hope to do it again sometime.

I lost ton of of games in this league by 3 point and less.. I think we both suffer from APF disease. We expect certain things to happen relative to assignments and we see funky break down. I am trying to understand Madden 10 and pull some schemes that are sim like.

Great game. We play in a few weeks.

Andro running the ball 31 times--atta boy!

Jamal Lewis walks off the street and puts up a 100 yard game. That dude must be hungry to prove some ex-coaches wrong.

Meanwhile there aren't enough carries to go around in TN for LJ, Moreno, Vick, and Young.

What the hell happened in the CIN-BAL game? The stat lines don't suggest such a lopsided score.

TB is for real--that game with PIT was closer than the Vegas odds-makers could have predicted. Silk looks to have created a serious competitor out of a former cellar team in just one season.

NE-BUF looked to be a very good game. BUF did a wonderful job of competing against a much stronger NE team, but it looks like Grunt finally was able to finish like he wanted. 7 tackles for Pozluzny--what a great core piece to build around. I can't wait to see/hear clips from the snow games between these two later in the year!

Man o man am I learning things the heard way. The Daniel Snyder in me has been alive and well. I think ill take a more subtle approach towards this off-season. If I want to stay compettitive with this league then ill also have to start using practices and scrimmages online. Man is this a tough league. I still don't know wtf happened between last season and this season.

All my games are close. Doesn't help when Welker fumble on the kick return and the fumble was returned for s TD.

strategy question, been working on my gameplay and have a question: how do you deal with the end rusher that lines up slightly outside of the tackle and comes in untouched?? i tried slide protect, but that made the tackle on the other side leave his guy untouched. is this cheese, or is there a counter that doesnt involve me having to leave 3 people to block this tactic??

I run at the guy with a FB a couple times. my FB usually sticks the guy or flattening him enough for him to back off and bite on the PA

yeah but on obvious passing downs this is not a option, on 3rd and 11 you cant run off tackle

What do you mean by end rusher? Is that a DE that someone is manually pulling way outside, or another player like a CB/LB/S?
