Keep your) into block. Throw out some ace formations while sending your blocking TE over that way.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

Re: ACQB M10 Franchise Game Discussion/Ish-Talking Thread
Yea but to be honest that was fair lol. I had double coverage on Moss the play before and my guy went into that funky jump swat animation and let him catch and run it in for a TD right before half. I was ecstatic, first kickoff of the 3rd. BOOOM lay him out for the fumble and pick it up and trot in for 6 to take the lead lol
It was a hell of a game and I can see a rivalry building between Pats and Bills. Grunt, my boys will be back from injuries when we meet again and I can show you what you missed out on this game. Ol Mr. Keller and his insane speed(99) and elusiveness. Ohhhhh how he could of been a game changer if I had him

Re: ACQB M10 Franchise Game Discussion/Ish-Talking Thread
are you sure he wasn't just doing the dodge animation as he squeezed past? the one where he dips his shoulder on the run? I play DE manually with a great rusher, and I've never found any kind of an exploit here. The other possibility is he is blitzing other players which creates a situation where your tackle has to choose between the DE and the blitzer, in which case just throw a checkdown or to the area the blitzer came from.GT: Teambayern5

Re: ACQB M10 Franchise Game Discussion/Ish-Talking Thread
Thanks, He was the best option available for the type of runner I was looking for. Power and just good ball handling. I still have my speed backs but I needed somebody that could move a pile and Jamal does that well. He makes up for missed blocks.Comment

Keep your RB in there to block. If you want, slide your protection to the rushers side, and have your RB block to he unprotected side. That should give you a sufficient amount of time to get the pass off.Comment

I had to learn the hard way. Stats are nice but wins are better. Schaub will just be a game manager from here on out.Comment

Ohhh and Pappy get yo game face on brother cause I am looking for a win after this disheartening loss to New England.
The Bye is falling good for me and these two injuries. Keller will be out vs Pappy and then a bye the week after. Then will be back vs New England. Only then sucks is Trent does not come back till the game after. I need to split the conference games with New England bad to have any shot at the AFC East.Comment

that dude is tough to tackle too! you have to worry about avoiding the flying bone fragments as his leg shatters shatters against the ground.

I think I'm on my bye too. This will be good practice time. Can someone tell me how to take my created team online? Everytime I do, it says my roster is outdated.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

i dont think there was no move involved, but as a defensive end user if you manually move outside of the tackle does that make it likely that you will get around the edge with a dpeed rusher, i mean i was getting hit before i could finish my dropback is it a exploit to pull julius peppers outside and speed rush?Comment

Like me and wildcat said, keep your RB in. Or if you have a decent blocking TE move him over to that side.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

Re: ACQB M10 Franchise Game Discussion/Ish-Talking Thread
No, even when I had Peppers, and now with the super speedy Brown, I don't find it at all effective to try and run outside the T like that. What you can do is do a finesse move where he glides past the T in one smooth motion, that might look like he was untouched if you aren't staring right at it. I bet that is what happened. With good DE's, I can get to guys pretty quick, and against a weak T you can do it pretty regularly.i dont think there was no move involved, but as a defensive end user if you manually move outside of the tackle does that make it likely that you will get around the edge with a dpeed rusher, i mean i was getting hit before i could finish my dropback is it a exploit to pull julius peppers outside and speed rush?
In terms of pulling him to the outside shoulder, I think using spread on the DL is not cheese in any way. It exposes the middle, and again, you aren't going to be able to get around untouched on speed alone. Maybe if someone online is taking a DE 5-10 yrds outside the T that might be an issue, but since i haven't seen that, I'm guessing it doesn't work for the same reason (the online people will do ANYTHING that is effective).Last edited by teambayern; 01-07-2010, 10:37 AM.GT: Teambayern5
