I like what both of you guys are saying. However, what makes the NFL fun is that sometimes teams give up on a player like your system would suggest. But, that player catches on with another team that gives him a chance and then he becomes a star player. You won't have that in Madden tho because the computer does not sign people off the free agent list that are viewed as bad players. (50 or 60's overall.)
