Re: MLB '10: The Show Fact Sheet
I was re-reading the fact sheet and something struck me that I wanted to share. The reason, I believe, this franchise has taken off the way it has and has become the best damn baseball game to date is simply because these guys only add what is practical to the game of baseball.
Look at the fact sheet and whats been added. No lame gimmick features, no brand spanking new off the wall game mode, no major shakeups of any kind. Everything being added is practical to the game of baseball.
I applaud SCEA for that. Stick to the game of baseball. Stay true to the game and thats all that is needed. Whats the line from Field of Dreams....if you build it, he will come? Well SCEA has built it and here he(baseball fan) comes.
Thank you SCEA for understanding that fans of the game of baseball, want just that in a baseball video game......the game of baseball.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Maybe your statement will be one of the "rave reviews" in the commercial.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show Fact Sheet
Or you could export your RTTS guy into The Sims and how you take care of your Sim (Energy, hunger, mood, etc) is reflected directly into how you perform on the field.
You could goto your coaches house and hit on his wife and raid his refrigerator.
Actions such as this would most certainly get you benched and possibly demoted. Think of the possibilities. Do you play it straight and advance your career or do you slack off by partying and end up booted from the league?
The possibilities are endless!
You know I'm joking, right?Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show Fact Sheet
When you talk person to person with these devs you know that they know what THEY need to do to make this as realistic as possible. They are deeply serious about what they are trying to accomplish and I don' think you need to worry about this game turning into The Sims. Trust me, they don't always listen to the Community Leaders either, lol.
When are you guys heading up there for community day?Comment

That is good, because if they did I am sure we would have some very odd things. Like fireman day or police day.Comment
