Ah, see, I didn't say that it was impossible to do, I just said that it makes more sense to do it one way over the other. What's the harm in having it as an option? I would much prefer it myself. Plus, some people use auto-fielding or watch games CPU vs. CPU. It's like asking why there's an option to bat with the behind-the-pitcher cam or the high cam, which is pretty much impossible to determine balls from strikes in the same vein as with one of the lower cameras.
Plus, the camera is still a bit too low to have that broadcast feel. As you can see from the Citi Field clip, the backstop comes into play (no pun intended) when the ball is hit. Don't get me wrong, I already love it three hundred times more than the other camera, but just like any other feature or mode, there is room for improvement and that means that it is open to suggestion.
I'm just glad that a broadcast camera is included! I'm sure that the other game doesn't have one, and that's all that I need to know to make my decision. At least balls hit in the middle of the field will get the right treatment!

I hope (as a roster fanatic) to see a lot more accesories and updated stances/motions.
